The school is good, but the leadership does not value teachers. The leadership is very toxic. The school principal has no say in school matters. Very poorly managed school. The teachers work very hard but feel no appreciation from the leadership. Fear is dominant.

This school is not the greatest option for your child. As a student, Ive heard my teachers make many complaints about the higher ups. Whether that is controlling certain school events, field trips, or fixing certain problems. Theyve also taken funding from one of their after school programs, and used it on the school instead.

Gracias a que existen escuelas como Nova, que proveen a los papás una opción para sus hijos, las escuelas del distrito de Santa Ana se han visto obligadas a mejorar, y me da gusto ver que así sea. Nova es una escuela chica y hacemos las cosas diferente. Aquí los estudiantes de verdad se van a sentir como parte importante de la escuela. Todos saben quien es quien. El problema con algunos estudiantes es que es muy difícil para un estudiante pasar desapercibido en Nova, o no hacer tu tarea y que nadie te moleste, pero si lo que buscas es apoyo real en tu camino hacia la universidad, éste es el lugar perfecto para ti. En Nova nunca vas a estar solo, y de verdad vas a ser parte de nuestra familia.
En lo que concierne a deportes, siempre hemos tratado de no dejarlos muy atrás, pero este año 2023-2024 será muchísimo mejor en ese aspecto ya que tendremos equipos formales de basquetbol, voleibol y un gimnasio.
Como maestro me siento muy apoyado y al mismo tiempo me doy cuenta que les importa mucho que hagamos las cosas bien y que impartamos una buena educación a los estudiantes. Yo como padre de familia aparte de maestro sé lo que busco en una escuela y/o maestro para mis hijos y trato de darlo cada día aquí en Nova.
Me encanta trabajar en Nova y poder ayudar con mi granito de arena a que sus hijos se conviertan en unos profesionales. Casi todos los maestros aquí pensamos igual, así que le reitero. En Nova, su hijo no estará solo.

My experience with Nova Academy has been very positive as an educator. The students are very kind and pleasant. The administrators are very professional, specially Ms. Cuevas; and the safety is the number one priority. It is a great school with incredible potential and greatness.

Having worked at other schools in similar communities as NOVA Academy, I can confidently share that my experience at NOVA has been extremely positive. I am proud to say that I adore the community we have grown to become as a school. As I reflect on the last three years, I am grateful for the work our school has accomplished. Along this road, our school faced the challenges and effects of a pandemic in the field of education but through it all we rose. Life on campus has returned and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue our mission in helping our students achieve success in college, career, and life. Truly blessed to work with a team of people who believe in our school mission. Service in education does not come easy, but the positive impact we strive to make in the lives of our students makes it all worth it.

The people running this school dont know what theyre doing. Theres no principal! The current director is really mean to the kids and she doesnt have any leadership or teaching experience. It was a big mistake to send my son here.

My daughter loved this school last year, but with the principal, counselors, and her favorite teacher gone, things are so chaotic. How can you run a school without a principal? Im already looking at other options. Just disappointed because school has already started.

So far its been a great school and the academic side of it has really stepped up its game every year. Last year it was ranked 11 for its increase in scores out all Orange County. The only problem would be the amount of staff resigning from their posts. It has been a great struggle but we will pull through. Have a nice day. - JDL

Nova is such a great school, in my opinion. They really want you to do your best and the teachers are always open and very supportive. I can't imagine myself in another school! Yes, it's very small and doesn't offer the 'high school experience' that is shown in movies and everything. But I believe it can still offer great memories.

I honestly can say this shool's environment is to small, the building is awkward to be in it doesn't really feel like a school.
