I wanted to have a good experience but wasn't willing to overlook the fact that my daughter's teacher lacks passion when it comes to teaching especially when compared to the other two pre-primary teachers and I wasn't willing to just let is slide that months later she still couldn't get my kid's name right. My kid has a very generic, ordinary name.

After 10 weeks, my daughter's teacher was still regularly calling my daughter by another girl's name. She had 7 names to learn so there really isn't a good excuse for this. Yes, it's disrespectful, but it's also made me question the quality of care. If you can't take the time to learn a toddler's name, what else are you not taking the time to do? What other needs aren't being adequately met? What confusion is there in the classroom and in my kid's mind as a result? The teacher got her name wrong during our one-on-one parent conference and often during pick up/drop off. My daughter got changed into the wrong diaper because of the name confusion.

I tried to go to the administration and they sided with the teacher thinking that 'mistakes happen.' Yeah, know what else happened? A kid was forgotten outside. My kid could have been next as a result of this name confusion.

TGPM was our first experience with a school. We chose it because our son's daycare provider recommended it as one of the most loving and academically rigorous preschools in the area... and she had sent her kids there. We love the inclusive, diverse environment for our kids. In addition to the array of materials, activities are planned and customized according to the needs of each child. Our son needed extra help in a few developmental areas, and both his teachers and the administrative staff were empathetic, knowledgeable and willing to work with us for his success. He has now been there for 1.5 years, and we all love it. We're excited to send our daughter when she turns 2.

TGPM is our extended family. Both my kids have had a fantastic experience with the teachers and staff. They are always ready to help and address all concerns. Thank you for being our family.

We have had our daughter enrolled at The Growing Place since she was 18 months old. She is turning 4 in July and we are so grateful to have discovered this school! She is such a smart, creative, advanced girl and we credit much of that to The Growing Place. She comes home with great new ideas and tells us about things she has learned each and every week. The staff is amazing. The school is truly a top notch facility. Highly recommended!

If you can get Ms Meghan for pre primary, you'll be fine. The program there is great, my kid always seemed happy and brought home great work.

The teachers greet me whenever I arrive for either of my grandchildren and seem enthusiastic. My grandson was reading by age four and knew his letters when he was two and loves going to school. They put on a great and ambitious production for the entire school each year. His younger sister has just started and seems to be following in his footsteps.
