I would be very cautious about sending my child to this school because of the lack of academic rigor and the complete exclusion of parents and community members.

There is no student/teacher relationship, class sizes this year in 2017 are 30/1. My student needs extra help but, does not receive it. Harder to handle students are sent to the councilor's office to finish their work. My son was assaulted by another student and was never councelled because staff claimed it was a Primetime issue regardless of being on school property. It was reported to Rodriguez staff but, never followed up on. Not a good school if you have a special needs, IEP, harder to handle child.... Rodriguez Elementary does not and will not accommodate your child.

The teachers are overwhelmed and not effective in providing extra help.

My son is a little harder to handle, he thrives with extra one on one help. He does not receive it, I was told he will not receive it and he has not shown improvement without it.

My son was assaulted on school property by another attending student. I've witnessed cussing, racism, pushing and shoving...

Terrible, I tried working with staff and teachers and always in the end my son was referred for councelling. He's had 2 years of councelled but nothing has changed. My son is an individual and deserves more than this. I will be changing schools...
