South Bay Community Pre-School

We have been at this school for almost 5 years (my eldest will start Kindergarten in the fall). Most of the staff have been working here for many years, which provides a stable, consistent environment for the children. The class ratios are purposefully kept low in order to ensure that each child's needs are met. The children are taught Christian values/morals and the teachers are loving yet firm. The academic level is strong as well, I think bolstered in part due to the one-on-one support and attention each child receives (due to the low student-teacher ratios). Likewise, the Director is available to speak with parents most of the time, and is flexible and caring in addressing concerns and issues that arise. I can't say enough good things about this school. Definitely ensure that you include it on your list if you are considering schools in the area. I visited many, many schools before finally settling on this one, and couldn't be happier with this decision.

I am so pleased and thankful to God for my daughter's great preschool experience at Southbay Community. I am greatful for the wonderful teacher she was able to learn from, Ms.Becky. I admire the patience, discipline,love and warm spirit she has for the Eagles class. I love the fact that when my daughter is home she imitates her teacher during play time. My daughter always talks about Ms. Becky! Thank you for your hard work and dedication Ms.Becky and also to the rest off the staff! God bless you!

This Pre-School is excellent from the wonderful Teachers and great academics. My daughter attended SBCPS for about 2 1/2 years and loved it!! She recently left to start Kinder and her current Teacher was amazed at how much she knew and said she was far more advanced than the rest of her class. SBCPS will always have a special place in our heart. We will defintely miss this school.

This is an amazing school. My daughter learned so much from this school and is head of her class in kindergarten. My daughter is so thrilled that she has been blessed to continue to go to this school for aftercare. They strive on making sure each child excells to their fullest. All the teachers are amazing and they truel love and care for each child. This school is truely a blessing.

My daughter loves this school, she has learned so much since she started preschool. I'm very satisfied with the care they provide to my child, I know she is in good hands. I've never had any problems with the staff. God bless!!

This school has stood strong for many many years and many more to come. It has a family flow and very strong christian values. This preschool takes the opportunity of a childs' most developmenting years and gives them a great start to a successful life. There is no limit to the love and care this preschool provides. The academic program is excellent and qualifies for each childs' needs. I would be honored to have my future children learn in this school. I see it as a blessing for being able to spend my childhood here and given the chance to be taught by excellent teachers.

This preschool uses a ABEKA phonics program. Church based so religion is taught. A lot of upgrades over the years.

My son just graduated from the preschool program last friday and is ready to move up to kindergarten. I only have good things to say about this school. Though my kid just attended 4 months in this school I am confident that he will excel in kindergarten. The teachers are great and they have a good balance of playtime and academics in this school. My son is now learning to read and have mastered his numbers and ABC's in this school. They also prepare the kids to be independent and teach them good christian values. Most of all, they're tution is affordable. They offer military and sibling discounts to name a few. Make sure to check out this school if you're on the lookout for a good preschool.
