I love this school! My daughter is on the spectrum and has ADHD. We are treated wonderfully, teachers and all staff are so caring. I love that when we come to school everyone knows my daughter and she is thrilled to be there!

My son has ADHD, you think this try to help ; nope. They keep suggesting to medicate him then looking for other methods. Keep in mind my son has been there for 4 months. The IEP process for FBA is still in process. Awaiting on the out one but medication is not an option.

Do I think the special Ed is appropriate for children with special nope. I don’t think the teacher is properly trained which she did mention the class is for learning disabilities not special needs.

This school is the worst if you have a child with special needs/disabilities. They treat kids with ADHD as problematic and look at them as they are lil punks instead have understanding kids with a disability. They have no compassion, sympathy, patient, or understanding . They don't want to help these kids or wait till last min to help. They even dismiss all suggestions from parents who are trying to work with the school when it comes to helping the child needs and education. It takes them a long time to get the ball rolling. I understand schools are under staff and needs more help but it still doesn't excuse them to treat kids with disabilities badly and their family. They want kids to be robots instead of them being themselves. If you are going to work with kids or at a kid setting you are going to have to learn how to handle and approach special need kids. You have to understand you can't have the same approach towards a special need than a kid who doesn't have an disorders. They can't do my much. Their system and protocols needs to change. It's a messy school .

My son is in kindergarten and his teacher is so wonderful, patient and caring. He looks forward to going to school and is excited every morning, so we are happy parents! His excitement every morning says a lot about the quality of his teacher and his school as a whole. I have gone to several parent/school meetings and the Principal, Ms. Yahudian, is doing a fine job in trying to encourage the parents to support their children's education and become more involved, so that is very appreciated by parents that understand how important a nurturing environment is to young children. So far, we are very happy with our son's experience.

What a positive place to be!!! The administrators and staff work diligently to provide a warm and academically stimulating environment for the children. The school focuses on the whole child and provides many creative opportunity through art and dance programs. If your child needs special related services all the assessments and related services are provided in a caring manner. This is a great school!

Read the post dated 5/7/2013 from a TEACHER who extolls the "principle"...it's correctly spelled principal....just sayin' And then the post dated 5/23/2014...yes there is intrigue....

Due to the fact that this school is 90% Hispanics the school takes advantage of that by harassing the parents as well as the students. Most of the teachers need better management skills for their students, that for every little thing they want to throw either social services on the parent or claim your child has behavioral problems. Once you deny the services to get your child evaluated, the harassing begins!!!! Don't enroll your child in this school! BEWARE OF THE PRINCIPLE, THEY ALL COVER UP FOR EACH OTHER

Great teachers. Very involved principle. Extremely active parent center. School makes you feel welcomed. Strives to provide the best for every student.
