This school is very serious about the whole bullying situation and is very much against it. Every year, this school has assemblies about bullying, what it is, how it happens, and how us as students could prevent it from happening.

Posted: October 6, 2018

This school develops students morals and behavior positively. Teacher and other staff put great emphasis on why you should arrive to work on time and the benefits you could receive out of it. This school also shines a light on bullying by having various assemblies on what it means to bully, how it happens, and how we as students could prevent it.

Posted: October 6, 2018

Students at this school have the opportunity to follow the example of the staff of this school since they show what it is to be a good person and they express what it is to do te right thing.

I started of my 8th grade school year at this school struggling and I was in a SAS class, which greatly helped me since the teacher of the SAS program have effective teaching methods. As soon as a teacher sees that you are struggling with your work, they aid you with many different approaches and different methods to do work.

Posted: October 6, 2018

This school greatly motivated to keep learning. I culminated as the Class of 2018 from this school and high school wasn’t as hard as I expected. I was in the SAS program and would like to shoutout the many teachers within this learning program since they teach with very fun and easy methods. My three years in this school were very great yet stressful, but the teachers at this school offer A TON of help.

Posted: October 6, 2018

As a student who attended William Mulholland Middle School last year (Class of 2018), i could say that the teachers here have effective approaches on homework. Throughout my years at Mulholland my teachers were strict about homework because they wanted us to get extra practice for the SBAC. The amount of homework we got greatly influenced our test scores in both english and math.

Posted: October 6, 2018

Teachers at this school are very friendly and push you to your full potential. If they see you slacking off, they would do their very best to bow able to get you into the habit of learning. The teachers offered great help to me as I culminated from this school last year (Class of 2018). My test scores were high in all math, english and science.

Posted: October 4, 2018

I guess the school did deal with bullying effectively. People may not agree, but it does depend on the child. They HAVE to speak up about the situation in order to be helped. You can’t just stay quiet and not tell any authority figure. They can’t read minds and they deal with a lot of students and problems at the same time. They can’t watch everyone twenty four seven. They have stuff to deal with. If you say something about bullying, the dean will help you out immediately and try to resolve the problem.

Posted: October 4, 2018

I was a student at Mulholland last year, and my teachers really did push me to do my homework despite me not even wanting to do it. If you didn’t understand it, you would always get a chance to ask your teachers to get help and they would definitely help you out with it. They would spend their personal time helping out students.

Posted: October 4, 2018

I was a student at Mulholland last year, and the teachers I had were really effective to help up achieve the highest test scores possible. They would spend a lot of time on a certain subject we didn’t understand until everyone got it. On the last test we had, 93% of our class passed the state test because our teachers pushed us to our limits.

Posted: October 4, 2018

I mean, I guess there were strong characters at this school. People are still disrespectful, but mostly everyone I knew were respectful to the teachers and to everyone.

Posted: October 4, 2018

I’m not really too sure about this even though I culminated. I didn’t really pay attention honestly.

Posted: October 4, 2018

I am not too sure. I wasn’t associated with this part.

Posted: October 4, 2018

I really did like this school. I wasn’t too excited about going at first since my first year was kind of rocky, but the next two years passed by like a breeze and I was able to pass all of my tests before the big state test because of my teachers. They pushed me to the limit so I would be able to succeed and get into great classes in high school. The teachers I had were amazing and are absolutely my favorite. If you had trouble, they would help you out as much as possible and even take up their own time to teach you. I’m a freshman in high school and am doing well because I already know how to pass my subjects because of my lovely teachers. I’m grateful. This school was really good!

BULLYING IN THIS SCHOOL, is another class, both magnet and regulars classes have bullying and the achool doesn’t care!!

Posted: August 15, 2018

My experience in this school! Was worse!!
I moved my son to Portola MS
The envioment, and test scores can show how the school is doing
My consejo es saque a su nino de Mullond MS es una escuela que retrasa a los niños , en au aprendizaje( pongalos en una charter!! Ya que en Mullholand no va recibir ayuday hacen mucho bullying!!

Posted: August 15, 2018

My son studied at Mullholland MS scjool, but was terrible system inside starting with the principal, parent center Director etc
Low test scores, bullying, low parents involved,
They used the budget in differents things , not where they supposed needs
The principal, dont let the parents take decisions on the budget, And Lausd don’t take any step to fix the problem!!
Dont bring your kids, to this school!!

Posted: August 15, 2018

If we see the low scores, on the state test we can see the kids aren’t learning, and the teachers aren’t doing well theirs job

Posted: August 15, 2018

If a child received bullying in the school!! And the achool don’t take step to fix it What kind of respect and compassion the student is learning?

Posted: August 15, 2018

The school is from the community
The school and PARENTS must working together, but in this case, Mullholland dont let parents, have a voice!!

Posted: August 15, 2018

The special education program, is not working in thia school!!

Mulholland is a fun and exciting learning environment. This is what school should be. Learning is safe and fun.

Posted: November 2, 2015

My son was in that school in 8 th grade, but I moved him, because Principal doesn't work with parents, parent center doesn't work , no workshops that help students to go HS or College, teachers some goods but in the policy academy how about the others students teachers API 700 no Ars classes, music ( without instruments) Lack of parent Involvement, but unfair because 90/ percent of the students are Hispanics, low income LAUSD must check this school A parent

Posted: November 2, 2015

Ineffective a , because they don't receive the correct training at this level and with the technology are poors

Posted: November 2, 2015

my student passed weeks without bring homework , or they never give any advice to go online for homework

Posted: November 2, 2015

I'm disagree with the school because, some part of students are specia Ed, or English Learnes and are not receiving the correct help to improve their grades and it not fair for that students, Honesty and integrity maybe we can start with the low parent involvement and the poor desicions over budget in the school

Hi im a sixth grader at this school and it is just truly amazing! The teachers here are so amazing! There are many clubs and also the pa is cool. At first I didn't like to go here but now i LOVE it here. It's just like a second home to me. My teachers are funny and really helpful and the staff is awesome! They dont tolerate bullying, cyber bullying, or fights. I just want to welcome the students of sixth grade next year and i hope you like this school. Oh, in pa we also have awards for things like GPA of 3.0 or higher and Cadet of the Month and at the end of the year there's Cadet of the Year. (: :P

I am sorry to write this review but those changes that William Mulholland Middle School has done is to put that school in the hole. I had my kids there before that new principal took over and let me tell you never ever saw the mess and disorganization they have today. It is sad, from the language, principal and teachers not caring. I am so glad my kids are out of this school now. I am so sorry for the good few teachers they have because they don't have the support from the principal. Thanks to the principal from the Police Academy Program for still caring for our children and making this program work. I hope the LAUSD read this and does something to fix this school.

We are church going people, and we are very disturbed by the language at William Mulholland Middle School; everyday when I pick up my child from Police Academy, I can hear the "F" word and other inappropriate words from a high number of students. I would place my child in another school, but the Police Academy is such a great program, it is the only reason my child attends William Mulholland Middle School.

Mulholland is a great school. My daughter was accepted to the new Robotics class that meets during Homeroom. She says that she want to make study robots in college and get a job making robots. Homeroom is longer so all the kids can get breakfast before they go to their first class instead of at nutrition. She likes breakfast at home, but this gives her extra time to program her robot.

Posted: September 21, 2014

Today at nutrition my daughter texted me "mom come pick me up some dumb boy threw me a chili bag and dirtied my sweater and hair" she even threw up.I asked if it was an axcident but she said it wasnt because he was going to throw it at another girl but threw it at her.Worst school ever, they need to pay more attention to there students!

William Mulholland Middle School is amazing. The Police Academy that the school has, is very good! I learned so much that high school feels like a piece of cake. I have so much love for the teachers and the school as well. There is no tolerance for bullying/cyber bullying, fighting or smoking, etc which is excellent. The school is very clean and a beautiful school that has unbelievably INCREDIBLE teachers. The Police Academy, has many advantages towards their magnet. P.A. (Police Academy) has taught me how to have respect for one another and how to be mature and not to fool around which is marvelous. I've grown so much in their magnet program that I'm so glad to call them my 2nd family! You will be happy that you've put your child at this greatly amazing school. I'm so happy that I got the chance to experience such a well educated school. I am so proud to be part of the "family"! This school has teachers that care about their students which is fantastic!

My daughter feels warmly accepted at this school. She is making friends with kids from our neighborhood. She she really likes the teachers.

Posted: August 23, 2014

I was able to chat with the principal last week. My son did well at Mulholland last year and he want to keep his drumming class. He also wants to make model cars, which I think uses math. The principal arranged for my son to get this extra elective.

Posted: August 23, 2014

Fathers can be bullies too. I thought my daughter would be safe in that school. the principal did not know anything about the students in his school. too much bulling. children seem depressed.

Posted: June 19, 2014

Terrible school. Too much bullying and the teachers yell too much.I sent my daughter to this school for 8th grade because the charter school she was previously attending moved to a different campus too far away from my home. Little did I know what I was getting her into. Big mistake. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

Posted: June 3, 2014

I have been around many schools but this one is terrible. The staff ignores ALL bad behavior and the principal talks alot but says nothing of value. This school needs to get rid of everyone and start over.

Posted: March 2, 2014

I'm so proud of my daughter's school because I can participate in every activity. The most important thing is because my opinion counts. I am the vice-president of the School Site Council and I participate in the Discipline and Safety Committee as well as the Leadership committee. I am an active parent and I invite you to come and be part of this school.

I love this school. The teachers are awesome and very understanding. My son did not know how to read and write and now I can't stop him from doing his homework. Mothers do yourself a favor. This is the school!

Posted: February 24, 2014

My daughter has been at Mulholland M.S for 2 years and I see that she loves her teachers and has improved in her Physical Education class!!!

Posted: February 24, 2014

Great School and Great Administrators, Teachers and facilities! I love how they handled my son in special ed. They are really caring and supportive. Highly recoommended!

Posted: September 4, 2013

I don't know if the staff can get any worse than they are now and the kids treat each other very poor

Posted: September 4, 2013

The teachers are awful I think they should start a magnet program that would help but there not advanced enough to do that

Posted: May 28, 2012

Mulholland Middle School has an award winning music program. I hope you got to hear them at the Canoga Park parade last Monday.

Posted: April 28, 2012

thanx but they haven't really takin any suggestions lately so i guess this is how it is and i gotta deal with it.

Posted: February 15, 2012

I am sorry to hear about any problem you are having at Mulholland. Please go an talk to the principal, he wants to know anything bothering a student at the school. I have found him to be very helpful in responding to any issues a student may have with another student, teacher or any other school personnel.
