This school is amazing. Teachers here cater to the kids, and seem truly invested int
Kids success. The campus is small and they don’t have much of a playground but classrooms are nice and staff is accommodating. Almost like family here.

This school is the best! I’ve had 3 kids attend 2 currently still attending.The staff is so great! And the teachers are phenomenal my oldest child went to this school not knowing how to read fresh out kinder at a different school. by the end of first grade @ ICEF my child was reading all thanks to the help of her 1st grade teacher, she also help her with intervention, speech therapy .I was so blessed to have found ICEF Inglewood elementary.

When I first enrolled my daughter I was a bit hesitant because school has a small campus but they have the best teachers, office staff, and principal. During the pandemic they were extremely helpful even for us parents. They provided testing sites and take home testing kits. They have have shown that the health of students and staff comes first. Teacher goes above and beyond to achieve academic goals. I have no complaints. They have been wonderful! My daughter loves the school her teachers and everyone there!

They update parents about our kid's negative behaviors and offers ideas on what we can do together to make it better. They update academic progress consistently as it should be and when we have questions, they take the time to answer.

I know in K-2 campus there are less behavior problems. The 3-5 campus seems to be a little tougher. Sometimes my child gets scared of other child. But I believe CHARACTER of an individual child does NOT define the school. Its how these parents should be raising their children at home. You see them at school, thats what I think a reflection of their home. You meet nice kids and then you meet their nice parents. Sometimes you see kids that YElls and scream all the time in the playground and then you meet their parents, its like..."oooo ...no wonder" Let's just say apples doesn't fall far from the tree. *no judgment here* just saying the truth!

Sometimes the office person says one thing and then the teacher tells another. If we need to talk to the principal, they always seems to try to make it happen.

Not sure about different programs if they offer because my child is in regular class. But I know that if you need help in math or reading, the teachers offers intervention classes.

Well, its like the same kid's name (or several kids) I hear all the time that "supposedly" causing all the problems. Poor teachers and office people having to deal with these kids. I'm sure the teachers have tried all reasons to deal with bullying , I think parents have to help and accept professional opinions. Well, think about it...if the teacher calls you about you kids' bad behavior ...I don't think she/he is lying. She's got not time to deal with your kids' BS behavior. SO YOU need to deal with your kid at home. So the teacher can TEACH the other children the way she/he should be without YOUR kid getting in the way.

My daughter attends Kindergarten. The classroom is on the 3-5 campus.She also goes to afterschool program here. We love the teachers here. They really do care for academic growth! The office people are always so helpful. Even teachers we don't know have been welcoming to us all the time. We hope to finish her elementary school here.

The homework follows the common core curriculum. And you are informed about what common core lesson the children are learning through their weekly news letter every Friday.

Since Ms. Peter has taken over this year there have been amazing changes with how the school is organized and how the children seem more engaged in many things she has implemented this year.

The staff realizes that each child learns differently and are motivated by different things so they try to support the many different way the children learn. And they also personalize different ways to keep the kids motivated and engaged.

My overall experience has been great, I feel like that my child has an extended family. There is no school that is perfect, but I will say that this school is pretty close. I know that my child is well care for. I know that each teacher is passionate about what they are doing. And want to help your child succeed. I know that if there are any concerns I can reach out to anyone and my concerns will be address. You get what you put into it.

K-2 was great my kid made honer roll everything was as normal as could be. Then came 3rd grade Hillcrest campus, OMG!! Bullying, fights, lack of good teachers. Kids with big gold chains, little girls with bamboo earrings and weaves. I'm currently searching for a new school for both of my children.

My child attended ICEF for 3 yrs and I was heavily involved with teacher-parent activities. The 3-5th Grade campus is completely out of control with the bullying and fighting. After all of my complaints falling upon deaf ears & several months of pop-ups , unanswered emails and daily torment to my child I enrolled her in another school and all of a sudden I am getting several calls from staff who had no interest in conflict resolution on the fighting and bullying only to accuse my child of being the problem! And of course to ask what school she will be attending. This campus needs to be shut down. K-2nd is still under control but 3-5th grade is like Juvenile Hall.

Children tell lies at this school. Lies thrive here at this school. SO I would have to agree with the commenter below, the children really do run the school and the administrator panders to both parent and student gossip.

My daughter is a 4th grader at ICEF Inglewood Elementary. She has been there since Kindergarten. She has had great teachers. They have always been welcoming and have great communication with parents. I love the principal and the office staff. They are friendly and responsive to parent questions and concerns. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for an elementary school in the Inglewood area!! They're awesome!

leadership is so poor students runs the school sorry to say but it's true. the lunch for the kids is awful hot dog corn & a pear is lunch and the parents pay$ 2.00 it's 2014 it's time for new leadership....

This is my child's 1st year at ICEF he is in the advanced kindergarten class with teacher Ms. Lopez. My son is very intelligent for his grade and age. Ms. Lopez is an Extremely Talented Teacher who knows how to focus in on the strengths of her students. My son is currently performing at 2nd grade level. I also would like to state that the Admin faculty is AWESOME, Ms. Wells, Ms. Howard, and Mrs. Owens-Lincoln and the after school program Ms. Dana! These are kind hearted individuals/staff that make you feel comfortable entrusting them with the care of your child. Thank You ICEF, I pray your staff continues to be a pillar in the Inglewood community!

I LOVE this school!!!!!! My daughter have been a student at ICEF Inglewood Elementary ever since her kindergarten year, And NOT ONCE have I had a complaint . The director and office manager, Mrs. Lincoln and Ms. Howard as well as all the staff members is wonderful!!!!
