This school has been amazing. My second kid just graduated from here. I would recommend the school to any parent. They really focused on the children and what’s best for them in a learning setting.

The school by far is the best! Staff, teachers and the principal are helpful and respectful.
School allow students to express their feelings and support them in anyway. Special education department has an team, they support the student and parents.
Language is not an issue there! Whatever Language you speak they have someone to translate to you.
Family is involved in so many ways. Events and fundraisers are awesome.

My experience at MSA 7 is absolutely amazing! My daughters first year here, and she's loving it! All staff, teachers, and principle are very engaged with teaching students respect, patience, boundaries, and very importantly success. They're very attentive in really getting to know the parents and who each students parents are which makes my confidence for safety that much more at ease. They offer several clubs and activities for kids to enjoy and further their learning skills and needs. They have after school programs if needed. I can't express more what this school has to offer and the environment on motivation, kindness, awareness, equality and responsibility put into each student and their class! Friendly environment between other parents and staff. My daughter attended another school and being here at MSA7 couldn't make us feel anymore welcoming!

My experience at MSA 7 is fabulous! I love the school's overall approach with children. The staff, teachers and principal are enthusiastic, kind, optimistic, energetic and care so much for each student to succeed. The students are engaged throughout each day and practice important values as being kind, respectful, responsible and safe. Teachers are creative about how they teach and the school offers programs that help students succeed. MSA 7 is continually engaging and partnering with community partners to serve MSA 7's student and families' needs. The classrooms are inviting and well organized. We love MSA 7!

This is our 3rd year in this school. Teachers and staff are amazing! The review on this site does not do justice for this school. Students here are very respectful, kind and happy! When the pandemic hit, the students were provided chrome book on the first week! They already had classes going online when other schools were not. They have amazing teachers and staff that are always ready to help.

It's our first year and so far this school is amazing. The staff are highly skilled and the teachers are amazing they always make sure everyone get the attention they needed they spend their after school times with students who has difficulty of understanding.

Some years ago my grandson attended this school, and I began volunteering in the classroom. I was very impressed with the teachers, the curriculum and the enthusiasm of the entire staff.
Six years later I am still volunteering at this wonderful and safe school - in the library which was opened about 5 years ago and now is well established with good books and the technology (bar coding) required to allow the students to take books home.
The teachers really care about their students. The students are happily learning and the activities availed to them are phenomenal - from field trips and many special events (yesterday a Spelling Bee) to a new arts program (well funded) to a Saturday morning learning program. You could not find, in my opinion, a better school in the valley for your K-5th grade student.

My daughter looks forward to homework time! We receive it on Monday and turn it in on Friday. When I am assisting her with her homework I as a parent can see how much she is learning in her classroom! We appreciate the teachers at MSA7!

My daughter had the best experience in Kindergarten. She build a strong bond with her kindergarten teacher. She is now in first grade and still thinks fondly of Mrs. Hong her Kteacher and recalls all the fun moments in her classroom. She hopes that she will get Mrs. Hong again . That is another incredible aspect about MSA7!teachers! They rotate what grades they will teach and you have another chance of having your child have another great year with a teacher they had a great experience with! My daughter is now in 1 st grade and Ms. Carreon has helped my daughter to love math and reading and writing!

We have been at MSA7 for four years and absolutely love it. The teachers at the school have a deep love for teaching which resonates in the classroom and in the manner in which they treat each individual student. The Kinder teacher is an absolute gem working with each little one in her care at their level. She brings a lot to the table and she sets an amazing foundation for her students to build on. Each teacher has their unique style and it blends so well from Kinder to Fifth grade in providing a rich elementary education. From Ms. Garcia adding her Disney touch to the Kinder class to Ms. Vasquez with a Dr. Seuss bent to Ms. Toccoli adding culture and the arts into fourth grade curriculum to Ms. Bracha & Mr. Yoon preparing the 5th graders for middle school the students at MSA7 get a rich education and outlook. Ms. Atay as the computer teacher with the coding classes and Mr. Wong the PE teacher also promoting nutrition and health among the students add value to the daily school experience that is hard to find in the LAUSD school district. The addition of Ms. Alonso as the Vice Principle and Dean of Academic Studies has been a tremendous boon to the school. The enrichment that is now provided to the students through after school clubs, projects and incentives enhance the learning experience. The career days, assemblies and general respect and etiquette that are promoted serve the students well. We are so glad to be a part of the MSA7 family. Keep up the good work!

The teachers at this school MAKE this school the success it is. They are incredibly gifted, communicative and clearly love their jobs. I love that at each parent conference I have attended I am made to feel like my child has their current teachers heart.

I like that they do not give the students too much homework and my kids are done in a half hour with their school work and then just need to read for 20 minutes. This way they have more time to play and be kids

At the start of the school year the students are given a booklet that outlines behavior that is expected from the students. And the kids are held and rewarded for being responsible, safe etc

My son enrolled to MSA-7 when he was in kindergarten and we were really happy in this school.They had college and career days, science fairs, and a lot of other STEM and College related activities. All teachers and admin were really caring and supportive. Unfortunately we needed to move from LA but still missing Magnolia community.

The school has a booklet of rules or guidelines that must be followed throughout the year. These include, honesty, generosity, helpfulness, kindness... Students are positively reinforced throughout the year. Children are aware of the rules initially, therefore are held responsible for not following guidelines. This creates a sense is independence as well as responsibility for their actions.

This school encourages children to plan for the future. Many activities enrich the scholastic experience for my daughter; traveling to other countries from class to class, science experiments, crazy hat day, health week and so forth. The staff is amazingly friendly and always happy. The projects that are chosen are extremely educational. We love this school.

Wow! So many good feelings about this school. My daughter loves MSA-7!!! And we do as well. I could not think of having her in a better school. The staff is great, the teachers are great! They are genuinly concern on each kid, they do lots of activitites, experiments, and opportunity to interact with the staff. My daughter is about to finish her 1st grade and we are very happy and pleased. I would highly recommend this school to any parent. Unfortunately, because of personal circumstances, we have to move out of state, if it wasn't because of that, my daughter would still attend for her next year. Her 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Vazquez, is one of the best, most influencial teachers i've ever met. Her desired to teach is amazing, a UCLA graduate that inspires kids to always look forward to a better education, does activities for them and for the school. I cannot be more thankful for her and the school. Simply amazing! Thank you MSA-7!!!

My Kids are so happy @ this School, it's been so helpfull for my boys attending to MSA-7, this one of the best decicions I have make for my kids, the Teaching it's wonderful and I love the way teacher take care of the kids for their learing, they are always in comunication with us as parents. wonderful and I can not be happier with the improvement that I see on my boys.... thank you MSA7 you are just Awesome........ MSA7 is an excellent school.My kids are happy with their school. MSA7's teachers have an individual approach for each student. All teachers are very knowledgable, experienced and carrying. They make our kids feel like Msa7 is their second home.

I've been a staff member at this school for several years and couldn't imagine working anywhere else! This is where I was meant to be and love every day that I get to walk through the gates! I love this school the environment is open to both parents and students and the teachers are very focused on making sure that the students get the best education and are always motivated. I am sad to see a school like this not being brought back by LAUSD. They are destroying one of the best schools and keeping those that teach poorly and do not worry about getting the best for there students.

Magnolia Science Academy 7 is really nice and safe environment for my kids. I feel really comfortable to leaving my kids after school program in which they have a lot of activities and assistant teacher helping my kids to correcting homework and working with them to improve weak areas. It is very important to find a school which you feel safe and comfortable about my kids since we are working couple

We love MSA-7 , kids at the school have enjoyed a very supportive and fun learning experience. The teachers are excellent, assertive and caring at the same time. The reading and math programs are a very effective way to learn. They have lots of activities and after school programs. I can see an improvement my daughter's level.

I am amazed that a school can become a family. I feel blessed that each day I drive my children to school, they see Mr. Ike and Mr. Serce welcome them to school, their teachers are happy to see them and my heart glows. I feel I have found my niche and my children have found a home to grow not only academically but also emotionally and mentally. They feel happy, literally, they rush to school with eagerness to be part of MSA family and spend time with their teachers. They do not feel uprooted, rather they feel like they have always been in MSA, even if they had just moved here to Valley mere three months ago. Thank you MSA 7

This is a pretty good school, Teachers are altruistic, amiable and sophisticated. School is like a family. Their academic program and after school program are very efficient. They have many activities and sports events. Parents are playing soccer and volleyball. Students are coming school not only Monday- Friday , they are also coming on Saturday to study math and science. I am blessed to have my daughter and son attend MSA-7. I strongly recommend it anyone.

MSA-7 has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. My children came from another public school where communication with staff was very difficult. At MSA-7 I can talk to whomever I feel I need to regarding any issue, and the staff will stop what they are doing, truly listen to me, and address my concerns. At other schools I would have to wait to make appointments to talk with teachers and staff, but at MSA-7 staff is always accessible and always has the time. The principal has an open door policy and is always warm, welcoming and friendly. My children have blossomed both academically and personally since attending this school. MSA-7 strives for academic success and they work very tirelessly to help all students, including donating their free time for enrichment programs and one-on-one time with the students. Every time I have had to visit the office, everyone is always polite, welcoming and happy to see me. I always see the principal, vice principal and other staff engaging with the children and watching them, ensuring their safety and happiness. I highly recommend this school. When I leave my students in the morning I know they are safe and happy.

My son started second grade at Magnolia Science Acadamy-7 this school year (2012-2013) and the improvements in his life are fantastic. He was in need of an IEP and through the staff dedication, administration support, and services offered and given to him, he has made improvement in all areas of his social interaction, his self esteem, and is educational performance. The staff impressed me most with their dedication to all their students and their sincere dedication both student and parents both. Any problems and/or concerns my husband and I have had this year have been met with with timely concern and handled effectively and efficiently. I am proud that my son is a part of the MSA family and look forward to continuing his education at MSA-7. I highly recommend this school to any family.

My son started at MSA7 this year. We came from a private and were worried that the academics wouldn't match up. We were so pleased to find out that this school had strong academics and high scores.We found the teachers to be hard workibg and experienced.The teachers work hard to meet the needs of every student. My son always feels safe and never bullied. The principal is very dedicated and has an open door policy. The support staff are always warm and friendly. The after school program is very well organized and heloful with homework. My son wakes up every morning eager to go to school and every staff member knows his name. I am very thankful to the MSA7 staff for making my sons transition year a great one.

I had my son attend this school for two years for kinder and first grade before we moved to Arizona, such a great school. I was so happy with them. Friendly front office, approachable principal and vice principal. Dedicated teachers! Lots of activities keep children socialize with one another. Great scores also prove their academic rigor! My son was eligible to take third grade math and language arts now, because of what his teachers at MSA-7 has tought him. Valley parents are very lucky to have this school!

I just enrolled my daughter today after taking a tour. What a wonderful school! The campus is small (but big enough for the students they have), green, and open space. The Staff was vry friendly outgoing, and always praising the kids for good behavior! All the staff I saw interacting with the students knew the students name which was great. The dean was participating in outdoor time with the older kids. I see a great future for my daugter at MSA7.

I have two kids enrolled at MSA 7 for about one year now (5th and 1st grades) and they both have shown a remarkable academic improvement going from a private school. They have some of the best math and science teachers around with solid European education. My kids are more social and active. I highly recommend this school.

The faculty and staff are so caring and wonderful . They even make sure your kid eats enough food before throwing it away . The whole staff and faculty knows all students and watches over them . The education my son has been recieving there is amazing . I know my home school would not have delivered the way MSA-7 has . There is a definite community feeling amongst the students , encouraging each other with "good job" statements . I love this school !!!
