Genuine & Enriching School!

Academically - Simple exceptional! Music, Arts, Library, Science, PE - all amazing & above/beyond in curriculum. Engaging, fun, relevant, and grounded in faith! There are many extracurricular activities/sports as well as fun/enriching summer camps!

Prior to joining the school, I toured many and spoke with parents and staff at other Catholic schools - Everyone agreed and one teacher from another school said it best - St. Gregory the Great is a hidden gem among Catholic schools. Then & now, I agree that the school is indeed a hidden gem. We drive 30+ minutes to have our children attend here; it is worth it! We have 4 children and all started (or will start) in the Preschool and continuing. I am a Mama Bear and have full peace of mind with kids at this amazing school.

There is a true sense of community at this school. Walking up to the school every morning, I am greeted by students "Hi, ___'s Mom"! One 2nd grader, a month or so ago, who is part of the morning running club, stops at the gate and sees I'm walking up with 3 children, stops running and holds the gate open to assist. She has done this consistently with me and others. The heart and genuine care at this school is ever present in these children! Other students noticed and now do the same.

The level of maturity of these students is incredible; and of course, kids are kids - there's laughter and playing, high faves, excitement before and after school - students love attending this school.

The staff from the maintenance technician who always has a smile and says hello TO the teachers & aides who you can just tell are happy TO the Principal who knows every child's name and always engaging with students. It really is like one big family!

Some families keep to themselves/live farther/not as much of a social presence/geared toward just academics and other families living near or far engage in many activities/very involved and then you have hybrids - there is a place for all!

My children have attended here since kindergarten. The teachers are loving and nurturing, but also stress academics. There is an amazing P.E. teacher who focuses on sports, fitness, health, and well-being. The music program is fantastic. The music teacher gives all students the opportunity to excel and perform. There is a great STEM and science program. Foremost, the spiritual development is amazing. My children's education has been rooted in faith and values. The community is very close, but also inclusive.

Great school with a welcoming community and wide variety of after-school activities. We are lucky to have our children attend here!

Love this school! They start each morning with a school wide assembly of prayer and gratitude for the day. Students then are provided with so much opportunities to grow academically, spiritually, musically and physically. They have a top notch music program as well as sports program! Family is the focus here with events such as pasta fest, grandparents day, concerts, etc. My children look forward to attending school every day!

While there are many good things about this school, the bad far outweigh the good. My child has been going there for a few years. I kept hoping it would get better. But it only got worse. Staff simply don’t know how to handle anything outside the norms of “a good Catholic kid .” My child has been shamed, ridiculed and bullied instead of praised, loved and accepted. If your child isn’t perfect….this isn’t the place for you. The parents are judgmental, cliquey and flat out rude. Putting my child in this school will honestly go down as one of my biggest life regrets.
