This school is busted. Ill prove it, First if your parents aren't in the PTA program, you get detention for anything. But if you pay the school, You don't get in trouble, how do I know? Because someone I know who has at least 4 tardies a week doesn't get detention. He told me "I usually have at least 4 tardies in a week." then I asked him "Do you usually get detention?" He replied "No, why?" Then I explained to him "If you get 3 tardies in a row, you get detention."
then he is flabbergasted on what I said. then he states "But they never call me up for detention?" Then after putting the puzzle pieces together I realized that the school only cares about money. Not the kids.
Take me down and I'll expose this to the school board. Take me down Casimir.

I am writing as a proud Casimir Middle School parent to share how truly exceptional this school is today. While there may be older reviews online from many years ago, they simply do not reflect the vibrant, high-achieving, and student-centered school that Casimir has become.
Over the past several years, under outstanding leadership, Casimir has experienced an extraordinary transformation. The principal is remarkable, and the positive impact on staff morale, school culture, academic rigor, and student opportunity is clear the moment you step on campus. There is a strong sense of purpose, pride, and care for every child.
The academic programs are truly impressive. Casimir offers outstanding opportunities in music and leadership, along with rigorous and engaging instruction across all core subjects. The advanced math pathway in particular is exceptional, using innovative and effective strategies that challenge and inspire students. My own child now loves math and feels confident and excited about learning, which speaks volumes about the quality of instruction and support.
Casimirs excellence has been recognized at the highest levels. The school has earned the prestigious California Distinguished School designation three times in recent years, in 2019, 2021, and 2024. This is an incredibly rare and meaningful accomplishment. In addition, Casimir has been voted Best Middle School in the South Bay by the Daily Breeze for two consecutive years, reflecting the strong trust and admiration of the broader community.
Casimir Middle School is a place where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As a parent, I could not be more grateful for the dedicated educators and inspiring leadership that make this school so special.
Sincerely,
A Proud Casimir Parent

I had 5 children in LAUSD they suffered bullying being beat up And other unmentionable things.
At that time I was young it unexperienced parent. I did not know what Action to take the city I lived is the city the school my child went to. that was the mentality.
I now know that not to be true.
I took them to court and got my 6th child out of there! TUSD. has the finest schools in this county. My other children were minorities in LAUSD
regarding ethnicity, The children blend perfectly as they don't see color they are there to learn.

I REALLY WISH TGE DISTRICT WOULD REACH OUT TO.PARENTS IN A SURVERY TO HEAR WHAT MAJOR ISSUES ARE GOING ON HERE

They give out so much homework I feel it is beyond overwhelming for my child.

SOME TEACHERS SEEM LIKE ThEY HATE THEIR JOB. Others tend to pick on certain kids in front of other students
Posted: February 2, 2017
Bullying is a major concern here please help this school

The principle has no control. Bullying at this school is out of control its so sad. There are crews that the faculty are aware of that cause problems for many student and rather than separating them they allow them to grow in force. If your child stands up for themselves they too get trouble so kids feel lost here. The district has to do something!!

My child attended a private school before entering Casimir Middle School. I find the level of academic learning to be excellent in strength. The teachers are among the highest quality and especially strong in caring for students well being and learning behavior. I am very proud to have my child attend Casimir, he loves his teachers and loves going to Casimir.

Our eldest will be leaving Casimir Middle School this June and she has received an excellent education. Thank you to the faculty and staff who have been instrumental in prepping her for North High School. Our youngest will be moving on to seventh grade. Looking forward to seeing how the school remodel will change the look of the school.

Casimir Middle School is fairly good. The kids their are 50/50 some are good some are bad. The campus needs some major upgrading though the bathrooms YUCK! The teachers here are amazing. The principal is Ok but the vice prinicipal is really great. The only thing is as I said was the school has some old buldings thats it. Go to this school!

the most terrible school ever. my kids came home and whined not to go their cause they got beat up
Posted: June 26, 2012
This school was horrible. Very unorganized and they certaintly don't know how to handle their money. I think the chorus teacher was the worst. All he did was sit around and insult students and just gave up. Most of the time he'll come to the school and just say "My voice is sore so yeah.." He's getting money for absolutely nothing. And all the teachers sure do have a anger problems alright. But some teachers are great. They should definetely move to another school to teach because of how sad this school has become over the years. Would not recommend to ANYONE.
