Community Montessori charter school treats each child as an individual, and promotes child based learning in true Montessori style. My expectations have been exceeded by the way this school has cultivated a sincere enjoyment and delight for learning in my children.

We feel so fortunate to be part of this community. Our children get the services they need and love going to school!

I am the parent of a Kindergartener at the Community Montessori Charter School, and I feel like we were given a gift. My daughter is so excited about school, energized, and learning in such a caring environment - in ways I had not expected. Even the administrators are philosophically oriented when they approach the children. I've been impressed by the positive discipline approach, their thoughtful communication with families, and the excitement of the kids about going to school. I love that Friday's are optional days that allow for families to learn together, to go on excursions, and to just be families and not obsessive about school. Kindergarten is a time for exploration, and I so much feel that this school is all about that! There are many options for families - to have children in full-day kindergarten, half-day, or home school. I have my daughter in full-day (until 2:45 PM) and she only gets upset when it is time to go home.

We saw my daughter's teacher at the Wild Animal Safari Park after the first week of school, and she ran to her and jumped into her arms: that is telling.

My daughter is in Kindergarten, so I don't know about the homework load as of yet.

If the teachers would stay for more than a year without quitting or being fired, maybe there would be a chance!

horrible administration, high teacher turn over, what could be a great idea for a a school falls flat. There is a culture of bullying that needs to be addressed at the school and more and more students with learning disabilities are there without proper treatment. Stay away.
