We could not imagine a better school for our children. The teachers and staff are very dedicated to helping each child grow to become kind human beings as well as academically successful. They are in a league of their own.

They allow students to shine for who they are and help make sure they are making great decisions. It is amazing to watch the kids help each other out and collaborate to make the school better.

They lead by example and truly use the 7 Habits from the top down. It's amazing to watch the new students in kindergarten learn these habits and put them into use.

I have seen aids working with students that have personal struggles to makes sure they can succeed

Mrs. Kathy helps students with Friendship groups and helps teach the kids emotional intelligence. With this they kids are learning to be able to deal with a lot of these items quickly and on their own. Adults will step in as needed, but I haven't any bullying with my kids at this school.

This school is amazing. It is truly in a league of it's own. It's a pleasure to have my kids attend this top notch school! It focuses on the education, leadership, confidence, and emotional intelligence.

Teaches kids to be responsible by assigning at the beginning of the week and having it due at the end of the week.

These teachers really care about the students. They make sure students that don't understand are giving the opportunity to have additional time learning to keep the entire class moving forward

Haven’t had experience with this, so I’m assuming it is not an issue- especially given the school focus on leadership and growth mindset.

Overall, I feel this school is great! They have a strong emphasis on academic as well as social-emotional success for all students.

Teachers are very willing to work with you as needed, however homework amount seems a bit higher than the 10 minute per grade level recommendations. (For example, a second grade student would have 20 minutes a night, a third grade student would have 30 min per night, and so on).

My child has learned so much! She's a Kindergarten under Mr. Buchler's class. She's always excited to go to school & always amazed us with the things she learned in school. And Mr. Buchler is an amazing teacher!

This is our first year (kinder) and our child's teacher, Mr. Buchler is amazing. The staff is caring and Mr. E is great. Many opportunities for parents to be involved. Great diversity in the kids and parents and an overall positive experience. My child has learned so much in 3 months but not in an overwhelming way. Mr. B communicates weekly, and sends out awesome You tube videos that the kids love and are so helpful to us parents. To me it shows his dedication to his student's and to his profession. The staff, Mr. E and the volunteers do a great job!

The staff is amazing from the principal down. I have 3 children that have attended elevate 2 current students and one that's moved on to middle school. My girls love going to school every day, the curriculum is challenging yet not overwhelming. The teachers communicate weekly with parents via email and are always available to answer questions. Out family loves elevate I recommend it to everyone I know.

My daughter was being bothered by a boy and I had the principal call me to let me know he was aware of the situation and had a meeting with his parents. Her teacher also moved his seat to avoid future problems. I was very impressed. I've also had parents reach out through face book about a child feeling left out or nervous about a new school. And parents always respond and set it up for kids to meet up at school or after to help make friends.

Absolutely this schools core principals are about leadership. Compassion, respect, accountability are characters all teachers promote. They also give exemplar slips every week to kids they see being kind, going above and beyond to help others. These are highly coveted by students. older students read to the younger students every week. It's a small school that feels more like a welcoming home then an educational institution.

This is our 2nd year at Elevate and we love the atmosphere. The focus of a growth mindset over fixed mindset is just what our son needed. Our local neighborhood school was good but was too traditional and in today's competitive environment. We felt our son needed something more cutting edge than the curriculum our parents were put through. Elevate is fantastic...if you can get in via the lottery!

We love Elevate. The teachers are great & the principal knows every kid by name. This school is way better than our neighborhood school. I'd recommend going here.

Great teachers! School could use a more experienced principal, or at least an assistant principal. That was our only issue.

My kids have attended Elevate Elementary for 2 years after transferring from our neighborhood school and they are thriving. They are excited about learning and are developing strong leadership skills, as well as emotional intelligence. The staff and leadership of the school are fantastic and we love the small community feel.

Both of my kids have absolutely flourished at Elevate. Best charter school in San Diego! The staff, teachers and principal are all amazing. They really do put the needs of each individual child as their highest priority. My kids have learned things at Elevate that not only put them ahead of the game cognitively, but also leadership skills that help them grow as individuals and as part of a community of learners. The only thing that would make it better is if Elevate added on grades 6-12!
