This school has helped me in many ways, such as helping with stress through the counseling of the amazing teacher, Ms. Wynne. As well as the help with my courses and much more from my teacher Ms. C. The principal of this school, Mr Frandsen has also given me many chancesto help better my self and education. I would highly recommend this school to anyone in search of a school to help better them selves or kids.

This experience at Surfside is absolutely amazing. I feel so loved and cared about. All the teachers and safe love you like their own. The classrooms are very much smaller and I love it because it gives the teacher and sutdents more apportunites to learn one on one and get a better chance to get more help. Words cant express how this school and staff has changed my life for the better. This school has helped me get back on my feet and has helped me through so so much.

I'm a straight A student because of the great teachers and studying experience. Everyone here is nice and caring and always there for you. They'll notice when your sad and cheer you back up. If you ever need a school please come to Surfside we'll be glad to have you.

My experience at this school has been very good. I have nothing but good things to say about the teachers and staff, they are so welcoming and take time out of their day to check up on us. The teachers are very good at helping with homework if we have problem understanding, the students are also friendly.

i recommend this school because i was behind at a normal school and now i am all caught up in school and no this is not a school were " bad kids " go too , its a drama free school and an amazing school 100/10

My son came into this school failing and not willing to put any effort into his schooling. Since he has been here he has received his first A in years and actually shows up to school everyday willing to get ahead and learn. Its been amazing to see.

I am glad I switched to this school. The staff and students are very welcoming. I didn't feels safe or welcome at my old school. My counselor at MLK was very rude, but the one at this school is very kind. My teacher and principal also are more helpful and seem to care about the students more than any other school I've been to.

Breach of confidentiality while we are fleeing dv they called my landlord about my daughter . Very weird indeed. They researched where I lived and called my landlord to pick up my daughter. 1. I dont know my landlord like that and I found this completely unprofessional and irresponsible

My son loves Surfside! He has made major improvements in his grades and attitude. He is so much happier now than when he was at OHS. He feels safe and supported at Surfside. They have small classroom sizes and one on one teacher support. He is able to focus on one subject at a time which gives him the opportunity to succeed. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity for him to attend this academy. If he stays on track he could even graduate early!

When enrolling my daughter, every staff member I came in contact with were extremely nice and personable. My daughter does the independent study, but communication with her teacher still happens and she knows that she has support and guidance. It might not be for everyone but she loves it.

Our family absolutely loves Surfside. The staff is always so welcoming and genuinely seem happy to be there and with there students. All my kids are in the independent study format and they only went on campus once a week. Which made it even more impressive that when we came to graduation they knew my kids by name. I was in awe and admiration of how much they care for the success of the students by investing in them not only as a student but as a person outside of school, even in such a short weekly visit.

I have had two kids graduate out of Surfside and they were both early graduates. Because my oldest graduated earlier than the rest of the seniors, he was able to dedicate more time at work and obtain a supervisor position at 17 years old. My daughter graduated an entire year early and was able to start college as a 16 year old. I am amazed by the education and skills this school provides. I have two more kids still at this school and Im looking forward to their success in the coming years.
