They teach the whole person and teach them how to learn critically. The staff really supports the students. The presentations of learning as opposed to parent/teacher conferences have the student talk about what they have learned and how they can improve. These are done in larger and larger groups with parents asking questions. Their public speaking skills get better and better.

This school was not what I expected. Its not terrible, but it isnt for everyone.
The school curriculum does not emphasize on high tech. The words are just part of the schools name, which is misleading.
This school does not follow traditional educational models. For example, no homework is given. If you believe that HW helps solidify work learned in class and provides the discipline and study skills needed to succeed later in life, you may want to look elsewhere.
There is no clear distinction between some subjects. Math and science are combined into one integrated class and humanities subjects (english, history, etc.) into another class. Since these subjects are not individually dedicated, they may not go into the same depth of learning as traditional schools.
The school also prides itself in its project-based learning model and giving students opportunities to showcase their work through public exhibitions. While this is virtuous, I believe students received little to no guidance on how to effectively present the material. They were assigned to a table with a few other students and left to fend mostly on their own. The exhibitions often seemed a bit disorganized and the students did not always seem well prepared on what to say. Individual accountability was also lacking.
There are two teams of teachers per grade. Each team has the same group of students all year, but the curriculum taught by one team is completely different from the other team. The topics of focus and activities are completely up to the discretion of each team of teachers and the same topics are not taught to students in the same grade.
Physical education and foreign language classes are also not required at this school. There are some opportunities as part of their elective choices, but some of their elective offerings were ridiculous - nail painting, a class dedicated to making friendship bracelets, etc. Their elective choices seemed more like recreational clubs. There are better ways to spend valuable educational time.
Again, this school isn't terrible. The teachers and staff try hard to engage and serve their students and my child did fine here, but I think the experience could have been better. Do keep their differences in mind when considering this school.
