I was very disappointed with my time at Loara. The staff dont focus on students mental health or well-being, instead, theyre quick to suspend kids without taking the time to actually listen to their side or understand what theyre going through. My child struggled with mental health issues, yet there was never anyone available to talk to her or provide real support. She had been told there would be a counselor always available to talk to for her mental health, but there never was. The communication from staff is extremely poor, and anytime I tried reaching out, the office staff and vice principal were dismissive and rude. It feels like the school cares more about punishment than helping their students grow or feel safe. Overall, the lack of compassion, support, and basic respect made this a very negative experience. We left to a different district and I am glad. I hope this can help other parents with a child with mental disabilities out.

This is a great school. I feel safe sending my child here and the staff are very communicative with the parents.

My son is a sophomore at Loara. He is in sports, clubs and does well in his classes. He have three cousins that recently graduated from Loara and all did well and are currently at different UC colleges that they got into because of the schools relationships with those colleges. Loara has been amazing for my son and our family.

Loara is amazing. I am currently a student and have had incredible support. My sister went through Loara and just finishing her undergrad at Chapman University and My brother went to UCI and is now a pharmacist. I plan to go to UC Santa Cruz with a double major in Fine Art and Business. Loara prepared all of us and gave us a lifetime of memories. You will find good and bad teachers at every school. My cousin went to Oxford and was stressed all the years he was there. Went to UCI with my brother and my brother is more successful. You get out of high school what you put into it. Once A Saxon Always A Saxon!

Teachers, staff members and students do not tolerate bully. People speck up for the silence and clubs are formed for students who have a hard time making friends. They have free after school tutoring.

I was a student in this dump for 3 horrible years and believe me it's awful. I mean the only thing this school produces are rock stars and porn stars. If you want your kids to do anything other than the aforementioned two, send them to Cypress, Kennedy, Western, hope he can get admitted to Oxford, pay for Servite or Rosary, or homeschool. I mean outside those schools, the rest of the district is complete garbage.

My family just moved to Anaheim and unfortunately this school is my sons homeschool. If the front office attitude is any indication of things to come then this is a terrible school. From the counselor to the principals assistant they seem to be lacking in the brains department its like dealing with a blonde clown. Nobody seems to have any information or they just don't care enough to explain anything. These people seem to have an I don't care enough about you to ask. They just seem to pass the buck to the next clown in line. I hate this school and I hate that my son has to come here. The front office staff that I have run into are the most unprofessional, uncaring bunch of people I have ever met. They made me and my son feel like we weren't even wanted there. I'm sorry but standards should be higher for people that have to educate our youth. Understanding, patience and BRAINS are a must. But as I said it's only the beggining of the year and I havent even met the teachers yet. Hopefully the person my son actually has to deal with has some manners.
