Both of my daughter's have attended this school ever since Bostonia turned into a dual language academy. My youngest is about to start 5th grade here in August. They have all had wonderful teachers and learned alot from them. My daughters have been both above average here in their classes. I have not had nothing but a great experience here with the school and staff. The ratings should be way higher as the teachers go above and beyond to help the students learn.
Now the only thing I say they need to work on is the school lunches. They need to bring the same lunches that Greenfield Middle gets to W. D. Hall. The lunches they serve not are horrible and I wouldn't feed to my dog let alone my child.

The Chrome Book approach is awesome and keeps the kids up to date with technology. Your also able to communicate with the teachers and check their work.

Both my daughter's have had excellent teachers here. They are above average in learning and I have had no issues with them.

They teach the students new character traits each month through out the year.

N/A my kids have not had any issues with bullying

Disappointing and very frustrating. Teachers, students and parents deserve a better support system. The principal does not even have an office anymore. She sits in the custodians closet to do her work. The district says that they have removed offices so that the Principals will be more present. Not the case here. Office Manager and staff are doing the Principal's job most of the time. Seems that this "new way" is not working.

There are many great teachers at the school. However, many are stressed out and get little support from the Principal.

They do the obligatory yearly anti bully week but are not consistent. WD Hall used to have administrators that were empathetic, caring and easily approachable. Not the case anymore. Concerns from parents often fall on deaf ears. Seems to be becoming a district wide issue.

Principal is more focused on making a name for herself than she is the children. Kids are to be seen and not heard. Office staff and teachers often on edge and the kids suffer. Empathy training for the Principal, staff and students is greatly needed.

Cajon Valley School District schools are very diverse and Hall is no different. There are many children from different countries and backgrounds. I have witnessed bullying go unchallenged. Kids also bully the staff who seem to have their hands tied as to how they can respond. The school needs to do more.

I moved my daughter to this school in the middle of 1st grade after another school in the district was not being supportive of her special needs. She is on an IEP and her 1st grade teachers and the support staff at W. D. HALL did a great job. They got her a wiggle stool her 2nd day there and we're supportive and helped her to learn.

We chose this school because it was closest to home and within walking distance and I'm disappointed. While we all understand budget cuts and the necessity of combo classes almost all of the classes are combination classes. Teaching two grades at the same time is even more difficult than teaching one. Since transferring here 1 year ago my niece has been tested numerous times for the English as a Second Language Program. Just because she's always had a bit of a stutter and she's obviously Hispanic doesn't mean she doesn't understand, speak, read, or write English just as well as any other non-Hispanic student. The distribution of time spent on each subject in the classroom is uneven and noticeable when the only homework that is handed out is reading and math.

I thought this was a good school until my kindergartner went there, not only do the kindergarten teachers yell all the time but they only teach the bear minimum here, very bad school over all!!!!
