Unfortunately, my daughter had to attend this school for her TK year, and it has been a very disappointing experience. My neighbors son also attended here, and they had a similarly negative experience.
My daughter absolutely loved preschool at WD Hall, so this has been a stark contrast. While she enjoys her classroom and teacher, the staff who supervise pickup at the gate are often cold and unwelcoming. They seem more focused on talking among themselves than interacting with the children or acknowledging parents. Pickup feels awkward and impersonal every day.
Im counting down the days until my daughter can move on to a different school. Based on our experience, I cant recommend this school.
2/10.

I am writing to express my grave concerns about the current principal of magnolia elementary school Sarah Robinson. I promised my kids and my wife that I will write a review about this school and especially the principal
One of the issues is the attempt to speak with Principal Robinson. For example, If I need to talk to the principal about something regards my kid's needs I need to make an appointment and go to many steps to see her. After that long process. she doesn't show any care and she always pretends she cares and my problem is not solved.
Moreover, since she start in this school the overall standard of education and behavior within the school has significantly declined. My children consistently voice their dissatisfaction with the teaching quality. They often complain that teachers provide minimal instruction and frequently leave the classroom to converse with other faculty members, leaving the students unattended and without guidance. Also, most of the homework is on the parents they have to do the work and the teachers always complain about the level of education.
The visible frustration and anger on the faces of the students and the teachers are alarming and indicative of a deteriorating learning environment. It is disheartening to realize that much of what has been presented to us as truth by the school administration is, in fact, a web of lies.
I implore the appropriate authorities to initiate a thorough investigation into these matters. Swift action must be taken to rectify these issues and ensure the well-being and education of our children. If necessary, consideration should be given to the potential closure of the school to protect the best interests of the students.
Lastly, I am glad I took my kids to another school and they are safe and getting a better education.
I can talk negatively about this school until tomorrow but I know no one will listen to me or give any reaction. If you care about your kids this is not the right school to raise your kids educationally.

I have 4 kids, and they all went to Magnolia Elementary School, two of them are in High, and Middle Schools now, and still have two more there! I am so satisfied from the teachers and staff there! I have been with them for the last 5 years, teachers are all so kind and professional, in all levels, from Pre-School till 5th grade! They dont save any effort to help students and are so close and friendly! My kids are so connected with their teachers and love them a lot, even when they oldest once left it, they always come to visit them! Besides, we have the best office staff ever and the most friendly community! In addition to the beautiful classes! I love everyone at Magnolia and so grateful for them because they are taking good care of my kids and they always follow up with parents and do many workshops for parents, besides, they are ready for any help! I feel that I am at home when I go to Magnolia! God bless everyone work there! The best school for my kids! And I cant thank enough the team of Extendant Day Program at Magnolia, they are the best!

It's ok for right now since we live 3 min. Away from the school but I hope that will change next year. We will be hopefully moving away. But I do like the staff very nice people.

This year my daughters teacher decided no homework, he says cause they will have plenty of homework in the future. While in class he does teach them a lot of stuff but I feel it goes kind of fast for each topic.

I see to much bullying and the consequences are not good, so the kids just keep doing it. It is sad to see that.

I like all the staff, they talk about no bullying but there actions towards it is not good. The Staff is very nice and make you feel comfortable.
Posted: November 8, 2019
I see that they are very supportive to the students with learning differences.

they say no bullying but the actions of the consequences are not good and the bullies keep on being bullies and get away with it. It very sad to see. I have spoken to the principal and vice principal but they say there doing the best that they can. Which I don't believe is right cause other schools my 3 children have gone have way better consequences.i

Most teachers here are okay when you make contact with them .

There is no followthrough on policies when it comes to student safety
Posted: June 29, 2018
We had u go as far as submitting police reports to the school and the district to have a child who was a bully and assaulting multiple children removed , but only temporarily.

Posted: June 29, 2018
It took countless emails , police reports , and threats of legal action to have a child removed who was repeatedly assisting children. Only to have him he let back into the school.

Horrible . 3 years ago it was better. This last year was horrible. The lack of consideration for students who are not problem children is so sad. I have moved my children out of this school and this school district.

The Principal is amazing and really gets the students involved with a very peaceful attitude towards each other. I notice other students are very respectful. My son has a Learning Disability and they have helped him so much. They give him the attention her really needs. The only down side is the traffic when it's drop off and pick up time. These parents are HORRIBLE and run lights, go through the intersection to block it just to get in. No consideration for pedestrians. I also love the office staff! What a great group of warm, loving, fun people!
