I am very happy either way the experience I had with this school, they helped my son who has autism a lot. All the staff that worked with him were very kind and patient and I am grateful for that. However it was a bitter sweet moment when I was told he had to be transferred to a different school based on his IEP. ItÂ’s sad to have to leave but for the short period that he was here I am grateful thank you the team of teachers and specialist that worked with my son.

Special education teachers are great . Dr Prange ( principal ) is very kind and friendly, bilingual and very accesible . The staff is great . We love Finney School .

I absolutely adore this school! The students, parents, and staff are all very kind and caring. There are so many happy children here. The school environment is really quite amazing. If I were sending my child to school on the penninsula, I would definitely pick Finney! Regarding the negative comment about the teacher from 2011: She was in the process of "finding a new career," and is no longer around. It was a tough year for those kids, but the principal Olivia Amador did EVERYTHING she could do to help. She taught the 6th graders herself for most of the day.
