Why this school sucks:

The music teacher called me disgusting and told me to "back off" because I had a sore throat.
The new music teacher is a weirdo. He always puts on the "sigma boy" song for the kindergartners.

The school's cafeteria food made me sick. I had diarrhea. I got better when I stopped eating it.

The students in my class just fight and slap each other in the classroom.
Most teachers don't care about the students.
The kids are obsessed with saying brainrot.

I love lauderbach.
It has been an excellent school for my daughter who is visually impaired. Teachers are great/excellent. They really cares about the students progress including the principal.

I have nothing but great things to say about this school!! My oldest had hearing issues and it was not caught by her pediatrician it was her kinder teacher and the school nurse that found out. They have provided and amazing support system for my daughter to cope with her disability. They make us parents be a part of our kids education and have great communication about everything that happens.

My 5 year old kindergartener has been attending this school since July 2017 and a student in her class has been physically hurting her (punching her in her head, choking her, and even pulling her hair) and it is now October and nothing has been done and it is not just my child I have heard so many other parents having the same problem with the same little child doing the same thing to their children. So now my daughter cries every morning telling me she doesn't want to go to this school I am now looking for a new school.

I would never have chosen this school for my foster children. Unfortunately the courts would not allow me to transfer them to a better one. Assemblies are conducted in a strange mix of English and Spanish, report cards and voice mail messages were delivered in Spanish. My children were not supported by the teachers or school psychologist who believed a 6th grader reading at a 3rd grade level was fine as long as he was "trying" to improve. I wonder if the school receives grant money for having more ESL learners, therefore it's best not to make any effort to improve their English. When my 6th grader's Spanish was recently assessed he was told that he needed to improve his Spanish because THAT was the language that would benefit him in later years. Even though he is an American citizen. This used to be a good school...what happened? Administration is doing a disservice to students and parents by not pushing the students to do better.
