I see a lot of comments talking about the bad teachers and it only applies if you take standard classes. Im a senior right now and Ive taken standard classes in freshmen and sophomore years and Ive taken AP and honors classes in junior and senior years and its a way better experience as the teachers have way more experience teaching and they are overall well equipped for teaching. My AP and honors class teachers have been amazing as they make the classes that wouldve been otherwise boring fun and interesting and make taking higher level classes worth it.
If your a parent I would strongly recommend you encourage (or just force) your kids to take honors/AP classes because they really arent that hard unless your taking like 3+ of them and they help kids make friends in the right groups since most people who take standard classes make friends who dont care about school or getting good opportunities for colleges and they end up not caring themselves. Also although I just wrote about how amazing AP and honors classes are, I would recommend not taking AP lit(or any branch of English) with any other class that has a lot of homework since I heard that it has quite a bit of homework and essays.

The way the teachers teach are very bad with unnecessary rules and results in a bad grad rate.

as parent my son graduated from Valhalla HS year 2022 and accepted in UCSD. managed to be involved in all his activities and was great in classes and marching band. all teachers were great, and classes offered as honors helped him to get college credit.

As I went to this school, the teachers were nice however they can be off teachings and not being helpful. School lunch was garbage by the way. So this school was okay but not great.

My time at Valhalla was, thus far, the most rewarding experience in my lifetime. I graduated around 5 years ago (I am being purposefully void) from the time of this posting.

My daughter is a junior at Valhalla and loves it. She participates in many activities and has been a cheerleader for three years. The cheer program is excellent and the coaches and advisor really care about the girls. My daughter is proud to represent her school. The academics are wonderful - great teachers and challenging classes, along with great support from the counselors.

Wow, Valhalla, what a glorious school this is. Everything about this school is perfect, not excellent, but pure perfection. This school does not include drugs, alcohol, or shootings at ALL. Everyone here is smart, very kind, and outgoing. The staff members and students are extremely helpful and kind. There are an ENORMOUS variety of activities you could partake in. Please, for the sake of your child, take him/her to Valhalla, you'd be making the best decision of your entire life.
