The school has undergone significant improvements in recent years, with notable enhancements in leadership, teaching, and staff. The PTO plays an instrumental role in fostering a sense of community through regular family-oriented events and encourages new members to join. Although there is a duty supervisor who raises their voice to the children, the overall quality of the school is high! Our child loves this school

We came into this school with a negative mind. Everything we saw was bad but we decided instead of going on all the bad stuff cause that is usually what people write not the good we would give it a shot and then move if needed. We were not disappointed! The new principal at the time (now 4 years) has worked very hard for the students to make it a great environment and make sure the kids are taking care of. While every school has and will have things to improve upon she advocates for the needs of the community and works hard for our military kids who already have it tough. Since we have been here the reviews amongst the community have been majority of good from the teachers to the PTO.

This district completely disregards what is best for its special education students. While Stuart Mesa made every attempt to rectify our situation, the district stood in the way of my son being successful at school. If youre facing the choice when moving to this area to choose between housing areas with different districts, choose Fallbrook Union! Anything but Oceanside Unified School District.

I have been impressed with the principal and teachers at this school. They communicate with parents and are involved if/when a situation needs to be addressed. I also like that they have a lot of students with special needs at this school; I think it's good for my kids to be aware of and interact with lots of different people.

The principal has absolutely no clue how to run a school. The disrespect and inability to run a school is unreal.

No idea. But highly doubt it. They cant even seem to teach those without special needs.

This school has so much bullying and no one does anything about it. Kids who have never been bullied or spoken down to are even getting bullied.

The worst school Ive ever been involved with and I wish my kids were given a better option and shame on the marine corps for providing such an awful school to our kids. We dont choose to be here, they do and this is what is available for us.

None of the teachers even show the slightest bit of excitement to be here or welcome their students

The students learn nothing, no students respect the pledge or any other song or time to be silent. They talk through people trying to make presentations. No one is enforcing such simple tasks of respecting people who are speaking.

Long story short, a substitute teacher played rockstar by post Malone and the principal didnt seem too bothered by it. We removed our kids and placed them in a different school. The district was amazing in helping with that. A formal complaint was filed. This was not the first issue with rated R things in this school.

I like how they interact with kids and have family activities, but I think they need to work on some of the teacher because sometime my kid doesn't even have homework and sometimes the teacher send late information about programs to their parents. That makes my kid lose a chance of a program that might help her on her education.
Posted: February 6, 2018
Because my daughter NEVER gets homework and when she does it's only one page.
Posted: February 6, 2018
Not my daughter's teacher. She is always late on sending out information about programs. So therefore my kid loses a chance of getting into a program.
