I just read the review from 2/22 and we have the exact opposite experience at Rowe. Both my kids love Rowe. Parent involvement and communication is excellent. The curriculum and the quality of teaching is above average. Class sizes are small and the education is excellent. They challenge their students and they excel. The sports programs, track and field, golf, tennis, basketball, football and soccer are all fantastic as well. Most importantly, the school environment is loving, caring and safe. We love Rowe and we love the feeling of community it offers. Rowe is truly an excellent school.

Communication to parent community is nonexistent. There is only a very small amount of opportunities for parent involvement. Bullying is rampant, the administration excuses it away. Intolerance towards LGBTQ+ is accepted. The administration is weak, is pushed around by the parents to get what they want. School decisions are based solely on what a group of vocal parents want, not what is in the best interest of the students’ education or health/safety. If you’ve had your kids in another school district, you will quickly discover how watered down, basic the curriculum is. If you’re child is an average student, they will be a high performer at this school. If your child is already a high performer at another school, enroll elsewhere. They will learn nothing new, will not be challenged. Half the teachers care. The other half doesn’t. Maybe it’s because the administration doesn’t ever have their backs… to busy pleasing parents.

Outstanding. My kids were well prepared academically, emotionally and physically for their high school experience as a result of their time here. We moved to the Covenant because we liked the idea of a K-8 school instead of a detached middle school.

This school is outstanding! We have experienced both excellent public and private schools as education for our children is our top priority. R. Roger Rowe continues to amaze us for many reasons. The teachers and staff are amazingly dedicated to the well being and excellent education of each and every one of their students - they truly care and they show it. My seventh grade son is learning almost the same curriculum as his older sister is learning in high school biology, and he's loving every minute of it. There is a strong community of parents who are very welcomed at school, and who are active in volunteering in myriad ways to help make the students' experience here truly wonderful. We were new to the school this past fall, and my son has felt very welcome and included in his new school community. The administration strives to continually improve and actively solicits input from parents and the community. This school is truly a dream come true!

Great school, I attended K-8 and absolutely loved it. All of my teachers were wonderful, and for a public school, it is a top quality education. The class sizes are the same as a private high school. I loved the education that I received.

I hated it. Half the teachers were horrible and half were good. I went there and had to deal with the crazy administration. They tried to make good decisions for us and change things that were already fine, all of those changes were bad and caused more conflict. I didn't like most of the teachers or the kids at the school, and I am incredibly happy to be in high school.

We moved here last year and lived in this area specifically for this school district. The school has turned out to be everything we had hoped for in an education. I had three children in this school last year, and they all are making great strides academically and socially. The administration and staff care about making sure the academic and emotional environment is challenging and secure. The small class size is like that of a small private school. This means that one child can throw off academic testing scores because the score of one child has a larger amount of weight on standardized testing than at other much larger schools. Having relocated several times all over the country, we are extremely pleased to end up in this fabulous school district. We can't wait for the new building to be completed, but the education received there is well worth the wait.
