My sons went to Green for K-2nd and it was a great community to be in. There are a lot of opportunities for parent engagement on various levels whether via the Green PTO or volunteering in classrooms (teacher dependent). We are moving away but we can only hope to get similar IEP support for our kiddos at their new school.

Sense of community is amazing at this school. Parent involvement is better than I’ve ever experienced at any other school and it makes it so there are awesome experiences for kids to enjoy. PTO raises money for art program, music, field trips and extra money for classrooms. Teachers are hands on and engage their students and make learning exciting. Love this school!

Green Elementary is truly a magical place. I have never experienced a school with such a strong, amazing sense of community. There are many opportunities for families to be involved in their child’s educational experience.

The school is good, but not the best for sure. PE teacher expects from every child to be an athlet even you enrolled your kid there because of the school boundaries. But 30-50 second homework assignment a day for either math or writing. What the children can learn from that? I do not know. And I am just wondering what everyday morning Pledge of allegiance is necessary for...

First year for my 3rd and 4th graders and I am impressed. The academic expectations push students to realize their potential. They have a good balance of body and mind with excellent PE programs like gymnastics.
And if you have GATE kids, the programs here are wonderful. From morning courtyard to fundraisers, parents are heavily involved in their child's education.

Green Elementary stands out among the rest. My student is a kindergartener there this year and I could not be more pleased with the teaching staff and admin. There is a strong sense of community and a family-like feel you don't get just anywhere. Every Friday the students dance with Mrs. Aragon, the music teacher. This is my favorite part of the week. Students are excited to start their day and the energy is wonderful, plus the dances are incredible. The music program is unbelievable, I was blown away with the winter performance and hear from others that's to be expected from this incredible program. There is also an extra PE and art class, in addition to music, that's all funded by the PTA. I've been so impressed with the morning courtyard gatherings that stress patriotic songs, character traits, and leadership among the students (raising the flag, leading the pledge, etc.) Overall, I couldn't be happier with Green.

I like the school. My child is in the kindergarten now. The only horrible thing in my opinion is that the principal makes children sit on the ground during the morning line regardless the season and the temperature outside. PLEASE, change this rule!!! Our children won't be able to have their own children in future because students chill their reproductive organs sitting on the ground every morning line.

Both my boys go to school here & we love it! Every teacher we've had so far has been supportive & very knowledgeable, they are passionate about teaching & making sure each student learning to the best of their abilities. Principal leadership is consistent & always open for input. And the parental support of this school is exceptional, our PTA is able to fund music, art, & parts of PE. Our children are receiving a well rounded education at Green Elementary.

This is our first year at Green. I have found the teachers to be professional and accomplished and the parents to be supportive and welcoming. My kindergartner is reading up a storm! I am very happy that we choose this school.

This is our first year at Green and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. My child loves his teacher and all the activities such as P.E., music and art. There is a tremendous amount of parent participation at the school and a great sense of community. We have felt very much a part of the Green family from when we first arrived.

My daughter started Kindergarten this year. I am so happy with this school. Her teacher Ms. Breier is awesome. She tells me not to pick her up so early after school because she wants to stay longer. Also, the principle takes interest in the students.

THE BEST SCHOOL I'VE EVER SEEN! THE TEACHERS AND STAFF GO WAY BEYOND OUT OF THEIR WAY FOR THESE CHILDREN! MY HUSBAND WENT THERE ALMOST 25 YRS AGO AND LOVED IT AND NOW WE HAVE OUR 3 GIRLS THAT GO THERE! :))

This is the best decision I have made in a long time for my children! What I mean by this is, I made the mistake of sending my oldest child elsewhere and we have had many issues. This time around I sent my 2 younger ones here and they love it. My Kindergartener doesn't want to miss a day of school!! What a big contrast from my now 7th grader!

Many many years ago I attended Green, along with my 2 younger siblings. It was wonderful and from the reviews, it still seems to be. Now, in my 30s, I am the mother of a 4 yr old little boy and I cant wait for him to go to Green.

I think Green is a great school to send your child. My husband is in the military and we move around alot and this school helped my son adjust and worked with him to catch up to the rest of the kids.... Most schools do not even try to help a kid that is behind and Green does!!!!
