The secondary academic director does NOTHING for bullying. Many students have been bullied relentlessly yet only teachers try to change. When brought to the directors attention she claims there is no bullying and victims are the ones who are wrong! Parents are never informed about conflicts with students and the secondary director Ms. S only brings it up when parents confront her.

My children have attended KLA since kindergarten and have had nothing but great experiences. KLA has a lot of rules and structure and because of this they have learned to be positive role models for their community. So far their teachers are amazing! Thanks to the dedicated staff, my children are high achieving students. I highly recommend this school to all parents who are in support of a school that sets children up for a successful future in high school and college.

Very careless teachers and school does poor job in taking into account the learning experience.

I really disagree with this subject mainly because I witness bullying everyday not just in my grade but in other grades too. There just certain students who don;t stop at teasing the students and they have a huge attitude towards the teachers and their consequences are don;t seem be effective. They have to fill out a "TSMP". This means the write what the situation was and "talk it out with the teacher" but if this doesn't work they get sent to room 20. Which is where they talk to another teacher and talk about the problem.

Overall my experience at this school has been very poor. There very minor good traits with some of the staff and teachers.

Not only are the homework they provide can be challenging and confusing some weeks they give you no homework then all of a sudden they give a huge unexpected amount any time of the week.

All of the student if not most don't follow the leadership or characteristic skills and it fails to teach them anything.

I'd say some student but then again nobody really pays attention to what they teach because the teachers are not very good at teaching.

I believe that the school I go to is good, I believe this because when i don't do my home work they have tutoring. If i fail a test they do anything to teach us. I want my school to earn the money because are school can buy new supplies for us.

I love this school's curriculum! The only reason why I didn't give a five star rating was because it's still going through transition but so far so great! Don't let the score scare you. Before Keiler was well known for being a trouble school until this year when they revamped, made it into a charter school, and made it K-8. Now it's a diamond in the rough! My son is in kindergarten and loves his Montesouri curriculum. The teachers are all about respecting each other and the principal is very dedicated to turning this school's reputation for the better. I enjoy their no nonsense policy. Who wants nosense around their kids, not me! All of the staff is great. Free private school education; you can't beat that.!
