The teachers really put their heart into teaching and making sure students are well. They provide a lot of support for students who are going through a troubled home life.

Students come in to this school believing that they can't graduate or be successful. By the time they graduate they are already enrolled in local colleges.

I came to Alta missing a lot of credits and dealing with so much outside of school. I was a teen parent and thought about dropping out. Alta helped me continue my education while helping me care for my child. It also gave me the tools I needed to continue my education and be the best parent I could be. I recently graduated college and I am proud to say that I will be continuing my education still. If it was not for Alta I would be a drop out and would not have been able to succeed so much. Thank you to all the teachers and staff.

I spent 2 years at this school. It was the best experience ever. The teachers and the school in general taught me to appreciate an education.The teachers were wonderful. Mr. Randol was the best!! I felt safer at this school than I did at Vista High.
