This school has changed my family entirely for the better. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcome by the principal herself, who knows everybody by name. The teachers and the curriculum are on point and advanced compared to other Catholic schools. I’m so happy to see that my daughter’s 1st grade teacher welcomed her with open arms. Their preschool program is great and welcomes all kids who are potty trained which was very convenient having both kids go there. Thank you for all you have done for my family. This schools mission is build around God, Faith, teaching the kids morals values and discipline but more importantly really good education. It’s still a diverse school in some ways which is very important in my opinion. The sports program is great both my kids now finally love sports playing with their classmates in teams etc. Some fundraisers like the annual gala and golf tournament and turkey trot (jog a thon) are fun and exciting for parents and kids!!! Great sense of community also.

Our family has been part of St. Kieran Catholic School for the past 10 years, and we are so grateful for the positive experiences we’ve had here. The teachers and staff truly care about each student and create a supportive, faith-filled environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Over the years, we have built lasting friendships and watched our children gain confidence, strong values, and a love for learning. The sense of community at SKCS is something very special, and we appreciate how welcoming and involved the school is with families.

Saint Kieran’s is an excellent school with the best possible staff support. The principal Dr. Belcher is the most attentive person I’ve ever met in my life. She communicates with each and every student from k-8 grades. The teachers are wonderful while also keeping a strong coricullum the whole way. You can’t do any better than this school, my daughters are flourishing and have very bright futures ahead!

While the quality of teaching may be strong, our family had a very difficult experience when our child was bullied at this school. We felt there was limited empathy or meaningful engagement from the administration regarding the bullying itself. Instead, the focus of our interaction with the principal was largely on criticizing my reaction, rather than addressing what had happened to our child.

When I discovered my child sobbing on the floor during the after-school program, I was understandably upset. Despite later being told that I was perceived as a "danger" to other members of the school community, staff members did not handled in accordance with their own school safety policies regarding such a situation, so obviously there was no danger. The most memorable outcome of the situation was a reprimand from Dr. Belcher regarding my behavior, with comparatively little discussion of the bullying or steps to prevent it from happening again. Ultimately, we felt our concerns were not adequately addressed.

As a result, we made the decision to withdraw our child from the school and received a partial refund of tuition. I am sharing this experience so other families understand that while academics may be strong, support around student well-being--particularly in cases of bullying--did not meet our expectations.

Saint Kieran’s Catholic school has an amazing staff. The principal Dr. Belcher and her entire teaching staff are top notch. Our children have continued to learn and grow as responsible students in their capable hands. I’m very grateful for such good caring people onboard. I can’t say enough for this school and the headway my children have made.

St. Kieran is a wonderful school for both academics and character development. The small class sizes make it easier for the kids to get the help they need from their teacher and the teachers are all very dedicated to their students' success. I have three kids at the school right now and all of their teachers are receptive to their individual needs and check in with me regularly. The principal knows all of the students very well and is very good at working with the students and parents on any concerns they have. The tuition is very reasonable, especially considering the one-on-one attention your kids get. You can tell that the teachers and staff really love their kids and the school community!

This is our third year here. Great school. The parents are very involved. The kids treat each other so well. Great academic standards plus weekly Mass and daily religious training and prayer.

My daughter attended St. Kierans. I have nothing but praise for this school. My daughter blossomed and really excelled here, not only academically but also moral character development. The teachers were encouraging and gently pushed her to be her best. The mentoring program was especially great and allowed her to gain some valuable experience helping younger kids. If they had had a high school, I would have sent her there, too. It really is a gem.

In response to the previous negative response posted on Jan 14th, I could not disagree more. Before sending our daughter to Saint Kieran we researched and visited over 10 schools. We were amazed by the small conservative catholic atmosphere where all the parents network and share in supporting each other, the children and the staff. Some of the teachers travel over an hour each way to teach at this school, and we have families that travel 30-40 minutes each way to send their children here. This is more than a school, its a family. The comment about only being interested in money is completely false, the principal goes out of her way to make sure that if a family is having a hardship she supports them fully. Teachers are all fully credentialled even though they are not required to be. The school follows the state quidelines and then takes it 10 steps beyond in order to make this the safest experience and educationally rigorous curriculum possible. More importantly, the children are kind, respectful and have a love of Christ. Of course, there are bumps in the road at any school... but it is always addressed promptly with love and complete focus on the needs of the child & family.

This school has gone downhill the last two years. Its been very close to being shut down. The principle does not know what she is doing and is only interested in money. The teachers are under qualified. The only thing this school has going for it is the parent involvement. Very disappointed.

What a wonderful school! I am so impressed with the organization, learning system, wonderful values taught and the overall great loving community. I would def. recommend this school for your preschoolers-8th grade. It's the perfect safe environment.
