My kids are thriving at this school. Small class sizes, community feel, tons of arts, music and enrichment. We love the daily Spanish and PE as well. Highly recommend!

As the parent of a beautiful precocious toddler, we embraced the WW Promise but the dream began to fade one winter day at the pickup gate, when the Kindergarten teacher reacted to my "Howd she do today?" with an out-of-the-corner of her mouth use of the R slur...to describe her concern. This teacher obviously didnt realize who was standing behind her at the time - and I actually froze as my child came running toward me with a huge smile. It certainly broke my heart to hear such an impenetrable word from an educator entrusted to care for children at such a pivotal point in their emotional and academic development.
After the winter break, I tried multiple times to meet with this teacher to discuss her comment that day because I knew this teacher was struggling and I wanted to reassure her and offer our support as parents in any way possible.
But instead this teacher escalated her concerns and we were called into a meeting with the Headmistress, who recommended we have our child assessed for a possible learning disability. We soon discovered our daughter has Dyslexia! So, Mystery solved :) For our part, we immediately agreed with the Headmistress' recommendation to enroll her in an educational therapy program that has an on-campus presence plus an intensive Summer program to follow, to alleviate any concerns by the school.
This was the handshake and the agreement offered to us by the Headmistress Pam Volker when we met with her at the parent-teacher conference on May 3, 2023. As parents, we were only too happy to make the additional financial commitment in support of our daughter and the school. But we never expected the same Mrs Volker to renege on her promise via email just two months later, followed by an abrupt letter releasing us from our contract and then a refund check. All of this wreaks of discrimination and I am amazed by the (lack of) reaction by the Headmistress to the kindergarten teachers struggle.
Instead of acknowledging that this school may be financially unable to commit additional resources for faculty training and/or an internal program to hold themselves accountable through the Accreditation Process, they simply chose to quietly release us from our contract only weeks before the start of the academic year, stating they cant accommodate our daughters disability.

Both my son and daughter have attended Warren-Walker from prekindergarten all the way through the middle school and they have both had an excellent experience. The teachers have always been caring and focused upon challenging my kids to be the best students and people they can be. I have reached out to school leadership numerous times and have always been received with an open ear. The school also has a strong community feel which has allowed my kids to feel safe, secure and supported. My son has especially the loved the music and industrial arts program and my daughter the drama program and close relationships with her teachers. My wife and I have been exceptionally pleased with the school and feel very grateful that we could send our kids to Warren-Walker.

This school is fine enough and cute but worth $18k a year? Not really. I question the fact that i used $85k sending my child to warren walker for 5 years. That is what it came down to for us. We are moving over to a catholic school where the curriculum and size are similar but cost and emphasis on moral standards is better. Really wanted to believe I made the best choice for my son but think I may have failed. :(

Our oldest son, 3 years old, has been at Warren-Walker for a year. We love this school. His teacher is caring, attentive and he is excelling in language, social skills and math. We highly recommend Warren-Walker School and plan to send our youngest son when he is age appropriate.

My son went was there for 11 years starting from PK to graduating 8th grade last year. Now that he goes to a different competitive private school, not only is he ahead of the game and very well prepared, but most importatantly an incredible young adult. It is apparent the difference even more so, when you leave and are in a different school environment. Warren Walker knows what they are doing and worth every penny!

Warren-Walker School is an incredible community from students to the teachers to the parents. When you visit the school and see happy students who are well mannered, well spoken and curious and eager to learn you know something amazing is happening.

I knew that I was sending my kids to a great school but... I attended eighth grade graduation last year, just to see. The graduates were composed, eloquent, talented, and their bond to their teachers and appreciation for their education was very evident. After seeing the final "product", I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else!

My son has attended Warren Walker since pre-k. After 8 years in this school, both I as a parent, and my son as a student have truly felt blessed. The teachers truly care about the kids and their future. Their focus is not only with achievement but with effort. My son stands out in a crowd and is very comfortable in conversation, even with adults.

Multiple kids in private school means I really appreciate that tuition is 60-70% of what I would pay at the comparable private school where I attended. Love the ocean view driving to school every morning! Can't beat the teachers- top to bottom. Very caring and they know how to find the angle that works for my kid's various learning styles and how to keep it fun and interesting. I'm lucky to have above-average kids, who can handle the cutting edge curriculum, project-based style, and workload. Spanish, art, music, P.E., technology... worth every penny.

My daughters have been attending Warren Walker for many years. I love this small private school- the class size is small, and the teachers are the best! I reccomend this school to anyone who is looking for a great school experience for their kids. Mike Haas
