My son began attending FMS when he was only three years old, and he is thriving. He is excited to go to school, and is learning to read and write beautifully. He is given a math lesson every day as well. The teachers are dedicated to the Montessori approach, and the environment is clean, warm, and inviting. The greatest challenge we face is where to send him when he completes the program!

I am the new Director/Lead Teacher for the Children's House (3-6 year olds) this 2011-2012 school year. My coworker and I have years of Montessori experience and are dedicated to providing the BEST educational experience for the children at FMS. Come check us out and see for yourself!!

My children also attended FMS for several years. The glowing progress reports that we received in no way prepared us for how behind they were when we made the jump to public school. One of our children was not given a "lesson" for the entire last 6 months of the school year. Our child was allowed to just repeat previous work day in and day out. Fortunately, our children were able to get caught up at public school...never thought I would ever say that! Another one of my children had to learn 3 years of math in that first year of public school...just to catch up. Yes...save your money. Maybe the preschool is okay when it doesn't matter whether or not your kids do anything other than socialize. But if you want them to actually learn after that...send them somewhere else.

My child went here for a year and it was a nightmare. My son had four different teachers during one school year, and this at a school where a child is supposed to have the same teacher for three years! When we looked to the administration for help we found a lack of oversight, a board of directors that was a joke, and a total lack of communication. The only reason I am glad to have encountered FMS is so that now I know what to avoid in a school.

A beautiful AMS school: Fallbrook Montessori provides a very strong academic foundation in a nurturing, loving environment. Children thrive and discover a life long love of learning under the guidance of professionally trained Montessori teachers. I am a parent who has investigated Montessori schools countrywide. It is one of the best.

We love Fallbrook Montessori School! We have two children currently attending FMS. We have been attending for three years and have been in both the Children's House (preschool) and Junior School (lower elementary) programs. Our children are thriving at this small, intimate, wonderful school. It is important to remember that this is not a traditional environment, it is Montessori Method. It would be wise to do some research to be certain that this is the method most suitable to you and your child. If you are interested in sending your children to a warm nurturing place, with small class sizes, that is very child focused, this is a great place. Children progress at their own pace and most are reading far earlier than traditional schools. My children are academically ahead of what their grade level would be in public school, based on the testing done last school year.

My child attended Fallbrook Montessori School and when my child left was behind in math and almost every subject. If you want a great education then choose a different school as they give parents raving evaluations, vague ideas about the curriculum and out dated materials. Your child will get a better education at the Public schools in Fallbrook. Don't waste your money.

Beautiful intimate environment. My child has graduated the 3 year PK-K program and has completed 2 years of Junior School. She has blossomed here and is educated and confident well beyond her 8 years! Wish we could stay forever!
