I've had two children at Venetucci for the last 2.5 years and we will be leaving this school this year, and possibly this district. The number of teachers who have left or quit during the middle of the year is unacceptable. Classrooms are regularly being reassigned and students move as new teachers come and go. There is zero communication or transparency from the administration at this building. If you need to contact anybody in the school or district, locating contact information of any kind is near impossible. If you are able to contact someone, do not hold your breathe for a timely response. There are maybe 3-4 good, solid teachers that actually enjoy their job and care about the students at this school. Everyone else is a new hire who will be gone during or after this school year. Support from staff for your student is only available if you have an IEP or 504 plan. If your child is without those, but still struggling, too bad, so sad for you. This school has dramatically gone downhill in the last 2.5 years that we've attended and I think it is directly related to the poor leadership and administration that has been appointed to this building. Widefield School District 3, do better for your students.

Teachers are involved and take the time to communicate with parents in numerous ways. Community oriented activities year round and many generations from the community are obvious, from grandparents and teachers to children of my school peers. Currently in our 4th year with 3 kids in the district and the community bond seems strong as it was when I was in school here if not stronger. I do not see the issues I hear about from other patents in other districts and the community committment to these kids success is undoubtably a huge priority. If we ever move I plan on making sure it is not out of this school district until the kids are grown, even then I dont see it as a very high possibility.

This school has a strong focus on segregating those with disabilities vs inclusion and support.

Our child was a transfer in and students were not welcoming. He was an outsider from that moment on and not included in play, parties or inner circles.
Posted: February 6, 2017
Our child was told he could not go inside at recess to use the restroom and instructed to go to the bathroom outside in the grass by the building.

This school is outdated, no air conditioning and circulation. My child suffered self esteem issues and ultimately had to transfer out of the school and district for our child's mental well being.

Great school district! My kids have been attending since 2004, the boys are in high school now while my daughter is currently in her last year at Venetucci. The staff is dedicated and passionate about teaching, although I can't comment on newly hired staff the school is well-rounded. Parents who complain, obviously do not have a good communication approach with staff and are not involved with their kids education. I'm glad my kids attended here and will carry fond memories of Venetucci with them. GO MUSTANGS!!!

Venetucci has the hardest working and most dedicated staff I have ever experienced! Both of my children go there and I have been nothing but impressed. My children are gifted and Venetucci does a nice job of meeting their needs. I am proud to send my kids to Venetucci!

Venetucci is a EXCELLENT! I have been nothing but impressed by the teachers and staff members. They really seem to care about my kids. My son has really improved with the help of the special education teachers this year. The students are well-mannered and they do a lot of programs for families. My kids enjoy coming to school. I would highly recommend this school!

Venetucci is a great school. Parents able to take a survey every year and they rate Venetucci with the average scores of A's and B's in all areas.

Venetucci is a GREAT school! Every year the families that attend are invited to participate in a survey. Every year Venetucci Elementary is given A's and B's in every area. We have several families who drive in their children from "out of boundary" addresses to have their children attend here. I'm just saying!
