A wonderful community! Great teachers, active and engaging with my kiddo. Love the strong Catholic faith and activities. Highly recommend to all families looking for a different school experience.

My kids liked school until attending this school. The school failed to protect the kids from bullies. The teachers didn't care to teach students who were falling behind in some subjects. And many other issues.

I made a couple friends here but other than that, this school was flat out the worst school I've ever attended. I've attended this school since Kindergarten all the way through 8th grade. Some teachers were really cool and actually taught curriculum while others were terrible and would always get on your nerves and make you want to yell at them. The teachers here are soft and the principal puts the funds into absolutely nothing. Would not recommend this school whatsoever.

Our experience with Divine Redeemer has been fantastic. The community has been great and very welcoming to our family. I love that the children our brought up with a faith-based curriculum and reinforce what we teach at home. Classroom sizes are smaller and allow for more individualized attention to each student. Overall I am extremely pleased with DR and will be sending my other child there next year.

The best part about it all, they managed to have students in school everyday in the 2020-2021 school year. I can't tell you how important this was for my daughter's psyche! This alone was worth the price of tuition.

Our children have been students at Divine Redeemer since 2011, and we are continually impressed with their growth. They are not just getting an academic education, but they are growing in faith and learning how to be productive members of society. DR involves the students in faith, community outreach, academics, athletics, and more. It is definitely the right fit for our family.

We love Divine Redeemer and would give the school a 10/10 for what it provides my kids. Not only are they pushed academically and 2 grade levels ahead but learning to value others and treat them so.

Unlike many other schools DR can teach the whole child. Character development is one of the main reasons we send our children here. A world that can be so mean and disrespectful to each other we want better values and morals instilled.

I cannot speak directly to the support of students with learning differences, but I know that when my children have needed extra help grasping concepts introduced in class, the teachers have been more than willing to offer further assistance.

We had a brief episode last year with one of our children, and the school leadership swiftly dealt with the situation to our satisfaction. No issues since then!

Divine Redeemer is a great school for our five kids! We are a military family who moved here last year from out of state, and we were immediately welcomed into the school community like we had been there for years. The faculty is amazing, the academics challenging, and there are tons of athletic and extracurricular opportunities in which to get involved. I love that my kids are challenged daily to live their Catholic faith at DR!

One of my children that attends DR struggles with learning in many ways. I was reluctant to have him in a private school because of my perception that he would not receive the support needed to succeed. I was pleasantly proven wrong. The staff works very well with him, and my other children, to ensure concepts are mastered.

We have not experienced bullying while in attendance. The promotion of kindness that I have seen surely help deter bullying, although I am aware that it could happen anywhere.

The amount of homework given seems appropriate for each grade level. While some research suggests homework is not beneficial for retention, it is important to me as a parent. It helps teach responsibility and the concept that hard work reaps reward.

The kids are expected to do homework and/or reading every night Monday through Thursday. I love that none of my kids teachers this year or last send homework on Friday. If they do it is because they didn’t do their work during the week.

I have a disabled daughter and she was more than a year behind at her old school. We started at DR last year and she is caught up to the rest of the kids at DR. The teachers actually get to focus on the kids. I love that my 1st grader is doing the same things that my neighbors 2nd grader in public school is doing.

There are a lot of things that the higher ups could be doing to make the school run more efficiently as far as costs. When presented with offers for services it seems there is little to no follow through. A lot of parents at the school work in trades or own businesses and are willing to help if they are asked. Instead there seems to be some strange protocol to paying out a lot of money for things that a parent could have done for them.

They have no understanding for kids with special needs. They ostracize and belittle them for needing extra help. I do not reccomend this school for any child.

Outstanding academic program. I know a lot of good people that went to school here. They truly grow good men and women. They teach values along with education. My son just finished kindergarten and is reading at a 3rd grade level after only knowing how to read two words at the beginning of the year. Bullying is not there strong suit, as they do not have a lot of conflict. If you're foolish enough to rely solely on the school to prevent bullying, you may be disappointed. I can email the teachers anytime, including weekends and evenings. I always get a reply. They care.

Divine Redeemer Catholic School allows the student to grow in their Faith as well as Academics. The teachers and administration seem to always keep the lines of communication open for students, parents/guardians. The student is treated as an individual and of course student/family participation regarding fund raisers and community outreach projects, is always encouraged. I would highly recommend this school.

I have 2 children at the school and have been a DR parent for 6 years.

With any group, what you get out of it is going to depend a lot on what you put into it. Divine Redeemer has become part of our family because we have chosen to embrace the Divine Redeemer community. And we aren't alone. Very few families leave DR each year because the overwhelming majority of DR families have a positive experience.

Although private schools are not subject to the same regulations as public schools, all of the teachers at DR are certified and well qualified. I particularly appreciate the way the teachers coordinate with one another as a team to provide a planned progression from one grade to the next. Each year, my children walk into a new classroom with a teacher who already knows about them and is ready for them.

I find the homework load to be reasonable and age appropriate. My children haven't attended a school other than DR, but I find that the homework load increases gradually from year to year. The assignments are used to not only reinforce class work, but to progressively shift responsibility to students.

Divine Redeemer places a high priority on character development among students. They care for and take responsibility for younger students through a buddy system. They are mindful of community service and supporting the parish that supports them. They hold students to ethical standards.

My child has attended here since kindergarten. She is currently in the middle school. She has received a strong education. The teachers and staff have been kind and caring. I would recommend this school highly.

This school is absolutely horrible my son currently attends here and from day one it has been a ongoing nightmare. The principal has no idea how to run the school and doesn't seem to care about none of the children's well being. My child was bullied and all the principal was worried about was teaching a lesson from the bible !!!! The teachers are very cold and callous with no compassion for new students. If you're thinking about sending your child here think twice , spend your money elsewhere as this place Is the worst place to send a child. They do not watch over the children whatsoever or care about the children's safety. No kid should have to put up with the nonsense that goes on in this horrible place. I don't know how this place is still open.....

My time as a student at this school was quite frankly awful. Because the school was so small there were extremely few classes offered, the place was understaffed, and bullying was common. While I was in middle school I had an extremely hard time passing my classes and more than a few teachers were completely unwilling to help, and the ones that were kind were fired or layed off the year I left. I suppose because the school is a catholic one its to be expected but the views exposed to me about life were outdated and conservative, and in general the place sheltered me from ever becoming ready for the real world.

My child attends middle school. As with every school, there a good an bad teachers. The good middle school teachers are compassionate, attentive to student needs and truly seem to have desire to teach each student at their level and pace. They are helping my child learn to be independent with just the right amount of guidance. The marginal middle school teachers are on some sort of ego trip. They seem to want to make a student and their parent's lives as difficult, and confusing as possible. When you ask for clarification, they take it as an attack on them, they treat you like you're stupid, and play dumb. The nonverbal communication is very clear; they don't want you involved, or want to have any personal impromptu interaction. I get the move toward independence aspect of MS, but to expect that from all students is unrealistic. How about a collaborative effort? I do know my child. I don't get only communicate by email. It's not like they have 5 classes of 100 students each. Middle school is hard enough why make it harder. It's a private school, where's the I'm glad your here, personal side. It's really too bad. That a few bad apples are spoiling the whole bunch.

I taught in a wonderful public school district at a National Blue Ribbon School for years. As a fairly new staff member at Divine Redeemer, I have observed that same quality of education happening in this school. The difference here, with the Catholic tradition, is the added emphasis on community and giving back to those less fortunate. The children help in collecting food for the food pantry, running a carnival for St. Jude s Hospital, raising money for the Empty Stocking fund , Jeans for Genes Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser- the list goes on. All children participate, even the smaller children! Divine Redeemer Catholic School is a family , much like your family, with high academic and behavior expectations, as well as love for each and every child that attends here.

Our daughter is in pre-kindergarten this year and what a great experience. The class has 11 students, an awesome teacher and an aide in the classroom. We were looking for a school that applied various skills needed academically and socially through-out the grades. The students are integrated into the school, they attend mass, and use the "buddy" system that our daughter is looking forward too becoming when she is older. The principle stands outside every morning (rain,snow,or shine) and greets every child by their first name- outstanding! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and full of enrichment. We cannot praise enough of how this school has made our daughter's education value priceless.

My daughter is in Kindergarten this year at DR and she has had a wonderful experience. It is a loving community with teachers that really care. The children attend mass weekly and the parents are involved with the school.We feel very blessed to have our daughter attending such a great school.
