Dear Parents,

This note is being shared out of concern for the well-being of the children. Recently, there have been multiple incidents involving yelling and rough handling of students by staff. It’s also come to attention that one staff member, who may not be certified, has been left alone with the children on multiple occasions.

Additionally, there have been concerns about unprofessional communication from leadership, including spreading rumors about former staff. This raises questions about the integrity of the environment and the overall example being set for the children.

These concerns have been reported to the appropriate channels, and this note is simply to ensure that everyone is aware and can stay informed. Please take care and do what you feel is best for your family.

Is what I was going to say before I was so rudely interrupted. However, thankfully the school is closing for good.

My daughter was left in her diaper for 8 hours without being changed. They then proceeded to inform me I could not bring her in because of diaper rash... They caused. Nancy puts her hands on the students to force them to listen and I have seen video of this. She has even gone so far as to hit a few students. Teachers are not allowed to discuss what students do all day and if you ask them they will say they do not know what the children did. When I left one of the administrative staff members explained I needed to pay the full two weeks in advance and gave me five minutes to get to the school. This was exceptionally upsetting, the expectations for parent are ridiculous and I can't imagine what it is for the children.

The director decided to put hands on our son in a disciplinary manner, and that is 100% unacceptable from an adult who's charged with keeping our kid safe.

Great until Nancy was our child’s teacher and we witnessed yelling and grabbing kids arms. Very scary such an unstable woman can be in charge. I recommend all parents come early and unannounced at least once to witness the true side of this director.

Grace and courtesy between the children and with adults is emphasized. We have observed many improvements in our child's ability to display respect and compassion.

The director, Ms. Nancy, helps parents and families understand the Montessori philosophy and how we can support our children in and out of school.

We've seen a number of students with learning differences have success in the Montessori environment. I have volunteered in the classrooms and worked with the children many times.

The school's emphasis on developing community prevents most bullying. When issues have occurred, the school was swift with correcting the situation.

We have been in this school for many years. My child is so happy and we are thrilled to recommend this school. We've had several friends bring their children here and all are very happy.

I agree because homework is not part of their philosophy. School work is completed at school, not at home. It allows us to have plenty of family time.

When my daughter first started here I thought it was going to be great . I found that there was 2 good people there one being Danielle who is in toddler 1 and 3 and Crystal who has left the school recently.
However Nancy the “director” is RUDE, NOT COMPASSIONATE, DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD AND IS UNSTABLE. No one likes her and if I could go back I wish I would have never enrolled my daughter to this school with a person so heartless as Nancy. She should not be around any children. My daughter has never been so sick and hungry since being at this school. I’ve read other parents reviews and it looks like they too had issues with their child being starving after school. It’s a dirty place and I don’t think their kitchen they “cook” in is up to state standards.

My oldest daughter attends the public Montessori school in Colorado Springs. I am a teacher myself for another local district. My 3 year old had never been to school before and we added the transition to me returning to work. We were looking for a school that was true to the Montessori atmosphere, relatively affordable compared to other options, and a peaceful environment. I toured several schools and ultimately chose this one because of the above reasons. Hope Montessori had cramped classrooms and did not seem to diligently follow the Montessori philosophy, but rather used Montessori materials. The other two schools were fantastic as well, but cost well over $1200 for full-day care (compared to the $925 for full-time care here). As a teacher, my salary is rather low for a professional, so this was a great option to secure the Montessori teaching methods for my daughter. Her teacher was very knowledgeable at the parent-teacher conference and was taking an approach similar to what I would have done with homeschooling my daughter. My daughter is always willing to go and says she has a "happy day." The home-cooked meals are a bonus! 7am-6pm care. She has attended for 4 months and no issues for us!

My child has learned to love school because of the teachers at this school. Prior to attending here she didn't want to go to school. Now she is eager to learn.

The students do their work in the classroom. Seldom does my child have homework since she gets her work done at school. My understanding is there is only homework when students don't complete their work during the school day.

The teachers help the children learn from their actions. When the children make mistakes they have the opportunity to learn how their choices affected others and what they could do different next time.

A true Montessori school.....not a daycare. We've looked at them all and this one is real. The teachers know how to manage classroom and teach all the students. The director/principal is friendly and helpful. Looking forward to continuing here as long as possible.

My daughter goes here and she is doing great. The staff is wonderful, the meals are healthy and they don't feed her junk all day. This is a great school
