This company should be shut down. If you want to send you kid somewhere where he/she will be ignored, hit by other kids while staff does nothing, and bill you incorrectly and then become upset with you when you inquire about your bill then send them here. My bill was always fully paid and on time and they were still rude and disrespectful to me. I would not recommend this company, find alternative care

If you have another option for child care, strongly recommend choosing it. Unfortunately Junior Academy is the only option for on-site before/after-school care at the school where my kiddo attends.

Junior Academy's management needs significant improvement. Navigating the enrollment process from year-to-year was always a challenge. When inquiring about the enrollment requirements/process, the on-site child care lead and Junior Academy's managers would provide differing information; often contradicting each other. Calling their office to sort these matters was also extremely challenging, as their telephone systems routinely experienced "technical issues" and calls would go unanswered and sent to voicemail - with multiple calls needed before receiving a response.

Junior Academy's billing was consistently a challenge and routinely inaccurate. The online billing cycle differed from the pay-in-person option by a week; this made reconciling enrollment fees nearly impossible and routinely contributed to incorrect billing statements. We were over-charged numerous times, and had to wait until the end of the school year to reconcile.

I would definitely recommend Junior Academy Small Wonders to any parent seeking a trustworthy preschool and day care.

This would not be my choice. We visited while shopping around for childcare. The first thing that struck me is that unlike every daycare and public school I have visited in the last few years, there is not a keypad lock on the door. I was able to walk right in, and there was a child right inside playing in the main area. It would have been extremely easy for me to access her. It cannot be that difficult to have a keypad lock installed to comply with what seem to be the new standards of security in caring for kids. All of the rooms seemed to be in in disarray, and there just didn't seem to be a lot of structure. One classroom in particular was just chaotic, the group was in the process of transitioning between activities. The teachers were scrambling to clean up, both with their backs to the children, while right behind them the kids were jostling each other, running all around, and fighting over toys, and the teachers were just not involved. In another room a small boy came over and started hitting my daughter on the back, teachers did nothing. I'm not sure how much of a true picture we can get from a tour, but I feel like for the money we would be paying, we can do a lot better.

I have had three children attend Small Wonders from the time they were one through Kindergarten and then attend Daycamp when school was out. The children's teachers and the staff at Small Wonders have always been kind, caring, and involved with the children. The programs there are very age appropriate and educational. My children still want to go back to Small Wonders and visit the teachers, most of which are still there. I highly reccommend Small Wonders and all the Junior Academy locations.
