I love Bristol elementary school because it is diverse, it has a STEM class, ART, MUSIC with movement, PE, and SUZUKI VIOLIN. It was amazing that my son learned to play the violin in Kindergarten. It is the combination of all these programs that was the deciding factor for me to send my son to Bristol. I love this small community school. The teachers are amazing and truly know my child. I can message them on Seesaw or Class Dojo, so I feel really connected.

My experiences at Bristol have been 100% what I have expected and more ! I don’t live in this school district or area and I drive my children over 20 minutes to be in this grand community they have created!

A huge thank you to everyone who works at Bristol and are giving our children life. Thank you for being you and bringing your skills and talent to the future generations. You are greatly loved and appreciated.

Homework allows students to develop good study habits for the future. I think it’s great that the school has grade appropriate homework in lower grades.

The teachers at Bristol are not only skilled and knowledgeable but they care about each individual student . I’ve had the opportunity to visit schools in other districts and I can honestly say the teachers at Bristol are excelling and are genuine humans.

I’ve learned about the Bristol 5 while visiting Bristol. This is posted around the school in various places in addition to the “be kind” signs in the hallways. Also a positive banner of the type of character students, staff and even parents should exhibit while being an active member of the Bristol community and hopefully after they have exhausted great they days at Bristol!

The Leadership roles at Bristol are not only the principals area of expertise. I have noticed the entire staff at Bristol has taken on a leadership role to be the best and continuously show the students what it really means to be kind and be courageous. From every individual I have encountered including building managers, specials teachers, janitorial staff, PTA, the front line office staff and of course the amazing teaching staff. I have not been disappointed in the knowledge, caring and thoughtful disposition these individuals have at Bristol . The staff at Bristol is creating a new way to look at what a leader is. The Team leadership here truly sets Bristol apart from any other school I have experienced.

Bullying is promptly dealt with by the entire staff of Bristol no matter what position they are in! Not only will the staff not tolerate bullying but the students stick up for what is right and what they have learned by being in Bristol! Bullying happens in every school But I can honestly say it has not been of great concern at Bristol because the students and the staff equally don’t tolerate it.

My daughter no longer attends the school because we moved. However, I would have kept her there if I could. Bristol is so successful with their teaching that the school was one of three schools in Colorado to win the 2017 Colorado Succeeds award.

Teachers at Bristol really care about the students. My daughter loved her teacher all the way through the year and I can tell most teachers have strong relationships with the students, which I believe is necessary for young children to be successful in school.

The Steam, art, music and violin programs in the school do a great job in developing character and a strong work ethic. The students' artwork is always displayed in the hallways of the school for the art walk and it is exceptionally good.

Negative - if your child will play the game of sitting and appeasing the teacher, it will go AMAZING! If they are an individual, chances are they will not succeed. I was disappointed as this is a STEM school so I thought there would be a lot of outside the box thinking. I was incorrect.

My student did not have homework other than reading. I would have preferred to see some reinforcement for any struggling areas.

The violin and STEM teachers are awesome - truly are! My child learned a lot from them. The others - no. They pigeon hole your kiddo and don't work with the individual.

My child simply started learning to "play the game" which was unfortunate. It became all about a clip chart and not about learning.

Teachers will follow their leader - if the leader does not hold them to full inclusion or methods for the kids, the teachers will follow.

If your kid is one to sit and not do anything, sure....if your kiddo has any amount of energy or doesn't follow the procedures, don't worry - they will be punished. And you will assuredly be reminded that your kid is not "behaving"

It's very much boys are punished but girls are not in my experience.

Both of my children have had the best experience at this school. They receive a well rounded education. Not only are the academics great, but the music, art, and Suzuki violin instruction enhance the their overall education. They started in kindergarten and are now in 5th grade. It will be sad to leave Bristol. It is a great school!

I love the curriculum and the personal attention the students receive, I believe the Mr. Ramsey does an excellent job in keeping the parents involved and informed on the progress of the school. Bristol students are testing above average for the distinct in many areas. Even though we have moved and there is a school much closer than Bristol, I will do my best to keep him at Bristol so that he can continue to succeed.

Ok heres the deal with Bristol...my brother is in 3rd grade there and his teacher cant seem to handle him. He is ADHD and my mom doesnt believe in the horrible medicines, so he is alittle hyper sometimes. His teacher is pushes, actually telling my mom to put him on medicine, which I think is very wrong. She needs to do her job, and be glad he is there everyday. The teachers arent the best, and I truly dont like the school.
