My child was enrolled in Queen Palmer and was a part of the Special Ed program. In my experience the Peras absolutely know what they are doing 10/10. However, I felt as though the school was based off performance more than anything else. There was a timer where I was told by the principal my child would be better off in a school for kids like them. The IEP meetings were long, and the principal never attended but they had a lot to say when it came to disciplining my special needs child. Long story short the school is aimed towards children who are up to grade level and beyond if you are looking into a school for your special little one, I don't recommend them.

I would never send my grandchildren to this school. Not because of the teachers. I would never send my grandchildren to this school due to the inappropriate principal.

Queen Palmer Elementary truly brings out the best in my child by tapping into her individual strengths, while creating an environment of kindness, responsibility, and leadership. Our family is so grateful for our Queen Palmer family. My child wakes up every day eager to attend school.

Queen Palmer teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see with each student – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved. The principal genuinely cares about the success of each and every student and family, and will go out of her way to ensure their success!

Christina Butcher or "Tina Mooney" is not qualified to be a principle, yet she is a principle here? I would never let my kids (all 4) in a school that she is the principle of, let alone have a conversation outside of the school with her. Tina is unprofessional, antagonistic, demeaning and unrealistic. This are not qualities that anyone would want around their children, I cannot imagine how she treats your kids, or how she talks to them, or in front of them with other teachers. She is awful to talk to adult to adult. I highly recommend going to D20 in the Colorado Springs area, they do a much better job of interviewing apparently.

Disgusted with this school. They blamed my child for something he did not do than admitted to it later. They have no sense and poor communication skills. Sad that the teachers and staff cannot be trusted

We choiced into this school when my 3rd grader was horribly bullied at his old school (by the principle as Wella a the students). We were welcomed at Palmer with open arms... They DO NOT tolerate bulling at this school and the teachers and staff genuinely care about each individual student.
