This is genuinely the best school for any child to go to. My son says that his experience here was impossible to explain fully with words. He said all the teachers, especially his, was extremely understanding and kind. The emotional support was outstanding, and all their programs were educational and actually fun. The school truly made him feel awe in learning, and put him in an environment where everyone was social and kind. He was also pushed from 89% higher than all students in the USA Academically, to 99.8% higher.

We recently moved from this school so I feel comfortable sharing our experience now that my child is no longer there. While at the school he had a 504 plan, was supposed to be getting services to start an IEP, speech therapy, etc. He recieved no help, even when I tried to insist on it. We had meetings with his teachers who bragged on themselves and their teaching methods, bragged on how they taught him so much, and insisted he was ready for 4th grade next year. After moving from the district, he has failed all state standardized testing and the school has no accountability. They don't prioritize their students health or safety, my son came home several times and had to be immediately transported to the ER for bruising on his ribs with trouble breathing, concussions, etc that the school knew about and "treated" in office without even calling home. He was made to be a car rider on several occasions, 2nd parent arrived to school to pick him up, just to find that he was no longer at the school but was sent home walking with no adult supervision. He was also targeted by administration and labeled as a "problem" child just for having a sync up watch on his person on the playground. The watch was removed from my child by the administration, and then my child was missing later that day when they didnt follow dismissal procedures. Because he didnt have his watch, he could not be easily located. Save yourselves the stress and heart ache and put your kids in a better school/district.

We love the teachers and most of the staff that we've met. Both my kids have been here from 1st grade through 5th grade. My biggest complaint is I don't like the GT program. I don't think they know what to do with the students and just end up giving them an extra project to do in addition to their normal school work. However, my kids were very happy with all of their main teachers.

We have had experience with teachers from preK to 3rd grade. All have been excellent. They communicate, let me know when my son has really gone the extra mile, but arent afraid to tell me when certain behaviors need work. I appreciate the staff in the office as well, all wonderful!

My experience with Weikel was great. On one occasion I was made aware of some not great behaviors from my son to other kids, the teacher made me aware but she also spoke to him about what kind of character he wanted. I really appreciated it considering kids dont always value talks from parents.

They make sure the kids have a great environment at school.

I have no experience with this department so I cant speak on it.

Ive had no issues with bullying being handled, but I do wish kids could more freely stand up for themselves instead of being taught to have an adult handle it even when its a very minor issue.

I loved Weilkel and am sad to be leaving. Great school with caring teachers and staff. I do wish they had more time for lunch but that is the only bothersome thing Ive ever dealt with.

My son has been far more interested in school since the homework lessened at home! He still makes straight As but is happier having time after school to be a kid.

Excellent! They catered to my sons individual challenges and still made him feel part of the class.
