Do not send you special education students to this school - they will make you feel like your child is not good enough to be in their classroom. It’s an awful experience.

School is pretty good. But they have blocked the lane allowing parents of special-needs children to get to handicap spots in time. I was told it was to prevent folks from driving fast through the parking lot since the high schoolers have already been released at that point and are walking around. But they have a million and one speed bumps already, what is one more?...or a sign? But don't block the way for special needs parents, and because of that, our kids have to sit until we are able to get up close enough . They say we have to wait in the long pick up line with everyone, and after the bell rings and as the kids get to the cars, we move up and park in the spots when we get up close enough. By the time we wait in the line and get up to those spots after other kids have gone to their cars, our special needs and disabled children have been waiting 20 plus minutes after the Bell! They are the ones that need help! What are the point of handicap spots if we cannot access them when it is needed and when they are available??! It is very sad the way they have this setup now and have fought me on that.

Leadership is always interested in hearing new things.

Again, with the IB curriculum and integration of special needs children, they are surrounded by opportunities. I don't see this in Elementary. I have heard about the upper grades.

They continue on the same approach, vs 4th grade where there are no spelling tests, so the kids get into a good homework routine.

We have had some amazing teachers who bring out the best in kids. (Minus one who was re-placed)

The curriculum promotes this and they are often rewarded on this.

They are always out and about talking with kids and asking questions. It's one of the best things I like about the leadership...they are not intimidating like before

I feel very fortunate. It takes a bit to get use to the program but for the most part they have prepared my child very well and we have all had a very good experience.

My son has had great teachers at this school. He loves going there and has learned a lot.
