If there is class time great allow them to work on it, HOWEVER, if there is not enough class time or assignment is not complete they should not have to turn in "homework" that is not done

Some teachers are AMAZING, key subject teachers (English/language arts) absolutely the worst I have come across. The concept of the school could be an amazing one but it needs much better key subject teachers, more resources and an over haul in leadership here (new principal, re-teaching of the assistant principal) and a key person that is a liaison between the school and the district or that person needs to be better know to families looking for help. Shop teacher, character and ethics teachers are great. Block schedule is good for the kids. Offering the possibility of an associates degree is great. Make the school better so that its potential can become GREAT.

There is NO development of character and definitely not from example. NO respect from certain teachers, NO respect from the principal, leads to NO compassion and a huge lack of integrity and respect.

Principal has no idea about the students at the school. Assistant principal tries ending up burning the candle at both ends and everyone still pays the price for poor leadership. School needs a complete over haul on leadership at the school. Teachers have no accountability to anyone but themselves.

The term preferential treatment is thrown around as an excuse. A verified medical disability is not preferential treatment and someone who knows what they are talking about needs to be in the position to handle IEP's if they exist here and 504's especially for medical disability's.

Fair, teachers can make any excuse and cry hurt feelings to get away with the most absolute horrible treatment of a student and the leadership (principal and assistant principal) at the school back the teacher instead of the students at the school. There is no one positive for students at the school to turn to for help of any kind at this school
