My daughter attended for both kindergarten and first grade. I had high hopes about this new school. Turnover for good teachers is high. Ive never met the principal or even seen her at any events. Principals are usually always walking around high fiving students, talking with parents etc... not at this school. The front office frizzy haired woman is extremely rude for absolutely no reason, not pleasant at all. Theres literally something up her ass, shes insufferable.
The classroom teachers do not learn the children at all and don't see them individually, my daughter came into this school knowing how to read and I truly feel like they failed her by not allowing her to continue excelling. Exploratories are great; stem, gym, and art.
Playground is lacking. Literally no trees.
The school is cold, no warmth. For being a public school they want parents to do everything. Staff dont do much for kiddos.

I have 3 girls who have attended this newer school since it first opened. Safety has always been a concern with the lack of appropriate parking, school road signs and crosswalks. Bullying is also an huge issue as it is never handled in a timely or consistent manner, as they also have some new inexperienced and strict teachers. All 3 of my girls get bullied in their classroom by special needs boys regularly. The admin is known for being toxic and not inclusive. The special education team is also dishonest and has not supported my daughter’s 504 or IEPs. They do not make up the minutes and just recently cut their sped paras. And the PTA is huge mess you want to avoid! Overall, this school is very disappointing!

Encompass Heights is truly a blessing to my daughter and I. She has Dyslexia, ADHD, and emotional regulation issues which were truly inhibiting her ability to learn at another school. I transferred her to EHES when the school opened, and she has thrived! She went from unable to read to surpassing peers. She no longer has outbursts, she has vastly improved in every subject, and she doesn’t fight going to school anymore. The staff, administrators, teachers, counselors, and special education department are truly amazing. They care about the students immensely and it shows. I’m sad and scared for my daughter to move on to middle school next year, but what everyone has done for her during her time at EHES will certainly follow her. She has confidence in herself and her ability to learn now. I will forever be grateful for this school and every single person there who has worked so hard to help her. I have 2 older children who struggled in school as well, and I wish Encompass Heights had been around for them. I feel their educational journeys would have turned out much differently. I think all schools should be run the way this one is with the immense amount of training that is required to work with students. It makes a big difference, and my daughter is proof of that. I recommend this school wholeheartedly!

Poor leadership that fosters a toxic non-inclusive environment. Holidays are not celebrated and the Husky mascot is non-existent. The PTA is a mess! And parent involvement is a joke. All the good teachers leave. Very sad!

I "choiced" my child into Encompass Heights for its STEM program, but it quickly became the worst school experience as a parent, leading me to transfer my student back to her home school before midway through the school year. In my observation, the administration creates a very toxic environment for the teachers that undermines morale, as seen in the high teacher turnover rate, which warrants district investigation. Additionally, the school culture is sterile, lacking warmth and any celebration of inclusive holidays or milestones.

Overall, the school places a strong focus on students with reading disabilities, neglecting to provide appropriate curriculum or challenges for higher-performing students. Despite the emphasis on its STEM program, it falls short of expectations and lacks depth. Finally, the leadership fosters a poor culture, resulting in an unbalanced and unsatisfactory educational experience. Until the leadership changes, this school will remain abysmal.
