My Daughter is in kindergarten and loves this school. As a parent I love the after school activities that they have. This school did a Halloween parade, they have Poetry night, Bingo night, and Literacy night. This is a great way for parents to show kids learning is fun and doesn't have to end when you leave school. It is also a great way to find new ways to engage your child in their homework. A few cons are that the school is not always forth coming with things that are going on. There was a small out break of lice, my daughter didn't get, but I found out from other parents weeks before I found out from the school. My daughter's Liberal Arts teacher seems very unorganized, I "HANDED" notes to her to do certain things and they were misplaced. She lost kids walking to the back of the building for parent pickup. Parent teacher conference her notes are never where they should be. All in all the school is good clean and do try their best. So this is why I gave them a higher ranking.

Awful experience for my child. Administration terrible. This experience for my child should have been positive, moved to a private school. Would not recommend this elementary school.

Salem elementary is a excellent school. The teachers are so supportive of the students on a one on one basis as well as a group it is astounding. The school promotes a true sense of community and is extremely welcoming to new students. We felt so welcome in Salem. I can see why this is a top rated school. Excellent academics without all of the extreme pressure and stress we experienced in other top rated schools. Am so happy to have been able to give my child a healthy and happy grammer school experience.

This is a excellent school, very supportive to children and the family. Great teachers and administration who really care and are looking for their students to be successful and happy. Love this school
