My experience at this school so far have been pretty decent. The teachers are great and I have loved most of them all equally. However, I had mentioned my first year to guidance how I was sexually assaulted by a student, and they were never punished for it. Someone had told me the best thing to do at this point was to post a rating that warns parents of that sometimes they will become bias with their cases, mine of which was just covered up and never talked about again. Anyone who plans on going here, please talk to your child more often and make sure they don't have the same thing done that happened to me.

My experience at this school has been okay. Some of the teachers are unneccesarliy ridiculous however, enforcing the rules for some students while not enforcing the rules for other students based off of race.

Sussex Central is a diverse community of learners. Teachers truly believe all students can learn. The best and the brightest are pushed with rigorous course offerings within the IB program and more Advanced Placement courses offered than any other school within the county. Struggling learners are afforded deep support with smaller staff to student ratios and tutorial period built into schedules for previewing curriculum and content and remediation. Sussex Central also has many opportunities for students to get back on track to graduate if they have faced attendance and discipline issues preventing them from earning the maximum amount of credits towards matriculation in previous years. Sussex central also houses the largest English Language Learners program in the county to help teenage students who are new to the country work towards a high school diploma and build basic skills needed in today's workforce. The school has a firm but fair discipline policy to ensure that classrooms and school environment are conducive to learning, free from the distractions linked to student misbehavior.

My school is outstanding in the way that the teachers and staff try their hardest to educate the future of our society. The only problem I have is that some policies are too strict and learning isn't as rigorous as I need. I have been accepted into the IB Program this year that they have been running for a few years now and am very excited for my future in learning, hopefully it will be more challenging.
