Wonderful teachers, nice small school where kids are valued and treated equally. The new principal and Mrs. Piavis, who recently left, are both great. Principal works hard to make sure kids are being successful. They have a great get to know your teacher day with inflatables, free food, games etc where kids see their classroom and meet their teacher in a non-threatening way. It's something that everyone looks forward to each year. Sadly many of the teachers have gotten cancer and a study was done to see if there was anything in the school could have caused it. There have been multiple newspaper articles on it. Of course nothing was found, probably because if they did the lawsuits would bankrupt the district. I worry for the safety of the teachers that have been there for years and how safe the water is for the kids. It is a very old school probably built in the 50's but it is well maintained. They have replaced windows and are doing redesign of the office and front this year.
