En general es una buena escuela pero las SECRETARIAS son PÉSIMAS, en especial NANCY, con ellas te debes de dirigir para la mayoría de asuntos y siempre están de mal humor, ellas dan la cara a los papás con un servicio pésimo, no brindan un buen servicio al cliente, te contestan de mala manera, cero serviciales. Pienso q ellas deberían ser amables y más serviciales. Los maestros son buenos y la escuela también solo ese pequeño detalle de PÉSIMAS SECRETARÍAS QUE NO LES GUSTA SU TRABAJO.

This school is so unprofessional staff , teachers and principal . She justifies every action of her staffs and never help resolve any concerns. Nurses are also unprofessional. My son goes a day or sometimes weeks without medication I am not notified my son has to aware me hes out or he just doesnt get it due to an excuse she always has and I even have proof of messages. My son has several disabilities and I cant even get him on a 504 plan because school will not help even with my son missing 37% of school year all due to medical reason all excuse. I now I have teachers who miss treat him even staff this school discriminate against other races who are not Hispanic even though I am Hispanic and my son is mixed race he get treated differently since he looks none Hispanic and speak much Spanish. Every concern the schools principal, Dean and Director see nothing wrong they always have excuses most excuse they uses is I did not state something in correct way they can understand or how the doctor stated my sons medication or always give run around front desk staff is disrespectful. I would never recommend this school.

This school is doing a great job. They do not get the help I see a lot of other schools receive and are majority low income and less fortunate populated. They have a wonderful culture and go above and beyond to educate many students that are foreign and starting out much lower than an average citizen. They have some wonderful programs and take pride in involving families with the childs education, school activities, and development. My son loves coming here and it is my opinion that more schools should operate much like this one.

Yes, this school serves primarily English Learners and many come from low income families and live in poverty-ridden areas. The schools charter was specifically designed to provide quality, culturally responsive, and challenging dual and world language curricula and instruction to this unique student population - and one that is often underserved in regular schools.
The collaborative efforts of the Board of Directors, Leadership Team, teachers and staff work diligently to facilitate the growth these students need to meet challenging state standards.
Collective attention is directed not only to academic achievement, but social/emotional growth in a safe and culturally responsive school environment. Their innovative approaches are remarkable.
A personal visit to the school is always welcome and will allow for a first-hand walkthrough experience that will be far more informative than reading hundreds of reviews. Their newly renovated facility in Newark, DE is beautiful and reflective of the amazing educational experiences happening there every day.

This school does not uphold their own standards. The education my kid recieves is terrible. They tell you they need family support to help the kids learn, even so they dont do their part to teach. Im so sick of my concernes being ignored and being told my kid is doing fine only to see that they fail the tests. I changed schoold for the coming 23-24 year.
