Engages families, teachers and admins are involved in the kids life, Im my personal opinion may be a stretch but you are better off being at this school than Sussex Tech, almost no racism, and easy to grasp education. In my personal opinion at Sussex Tech I was still using what I learned from 7th grade here less stressed.

This is the best high school you could ever send your children to. The teachers are amazing and are always looking for new ways to keep students engaged and learning. The personal relationships between everyone at the school is the best part. Being able to walk into a class with a teacher who feels like just another friend makes learning much more enjoyable than sitting in a silent room with a teacher who regrets their life decisions. It is very hard to not fit in somewhere, the diversity of people here is so vast that you are sure to find your place.

One of the worst schools in Delaware. Extremely low ratings. Do not make the mistake of sending your child here. Teachers dont care if respond to emails. Bad kids at school. Teachers dont do anything about the huge drug issue at school.

Our children have both attended Seaford School District from K-12. Both were accepted to some of the top universities in the country as were many of their freinds. There are recent alumni attending and having great success at Stanford, The Naval Academy, Wake Forrest, Penn State, Clemson, LSU, Auburn, Towson and University of Delaware. While some students may struggle and have discipline issues as many of these post reflect, there are many great staff and students succeeding every day. As with any public school, some want the education while some do not. This is the reality and most of those who blame the school for the failure of their student are just making excuses instead of holding them accountable. Seaford is a great commmunity and a wonderful place to raise a family. We are very fortunate to have so many opportunities for our children in a relatively small school, from language immersion to new tech, AP and IB courses and many extracurricular clubs and sports.
