The school is honestly a bad place. I dont suggest coming here, overwhelming school rules and the staff will be in your business making it hard to be comfortable even walking into the school. They say they care about you then force you into something youre not comfortable doing.

The teachers are caring, knowledgeable, communicate diligently, and enjoy their profession. Leadership is solid. Bullying is little to non-existent at Postlethwait. My child is very happy and successful here. His teachers have brought him from on grade level reading to pre-college level reading within one year. This is truly a special place. My son came to this school in 7th grade and felt like he found his perfect fit. He is now in 8th grade, second year with Mrs. Szabo-State Teacher of the Year, and always has information about what he's learned and positive remarks about the students, teachers, and administration. This school provides many free family/school fun activities, too. We love Postlethwait!

Postlethwait is a terrific school. The school leadership and the staff are very responsive. My daughter is in her last year at PMS and loves the school and the teachers. The extracurricular programs are good. I always see building leadership attending various games and other events throughout the year. Grade band teams are great in terms of communicating with families, but it would be nice to see a more structured and engaging parent group in the building providing direct support and services for the students and teachers.

Postlethwait Middle was an excellent choice for my 8th grader. Coming in as a new student, she was welcomed and has caring teachers who go above and beyond in teaching and keeping parents up to date. My email inbox is filled each week from classroom updates from all four of my daughters teachers. Great school! We are a military family and move often so we have been a part of many schools. The Postlethwait Gold 8 teachers are exceptional!
