The Little School

The little school is the place to be! I have loved my time working here. I feel valued, important and supported. I love the schools mission, the DE&I journey we are on and the ways they are staying current with curriculum! Education and Social Emotional skills are so important and prioritized and each child receives differential education! I will be here until my retirement for sure!

The "teachers" give the children the answers instead of assisting.

They shouldn't be called "teachers". They should be referred to as "care givers".

This school caters to the rich, stay at home mom's. My family doesn't fall into that class, so we were treated as such.

My child has many learning disabilities that cause behavior problems. I received calls on a daily basis regarding behavior. I was ASSURED that this place could handle a child like mine. It was about money and not the well being of my child.

This is the worst place to have your child. Summer camp is expensive and doesn't include ANYTHING. My child struggled to get their homework done because the "teachers" would just give the answers. There was no "helping" with homework. The review of their summer camp was deleted by them. Probably because they violated some kind of laws by having toddlers and the rest of the children WASHING THE STAFF MEMBERS CARS on the last day of camp. Not only that, they charged $220 per week for what? No meals or field trips. The Boys and Girls Club is MUCH more affordable and their summer camp includes breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. Plus, they take a field trip weekly. When my child was enrolled there, homework was done correctly and my child's morale was better. My child will be returning to BGC for the simple fact that BGC CARES about their kids and not just making a dollar. The Little School is over priced, not interested in assisting the kids (who are in 2-3rd grade) with homework or growth. Summer camp? If you want to feel like an elite and put your kids there, so-be-it. However, finding a center that actually engages children and encourages them to use their minds. Educational field trips... Never again will I submit my child to an environment as toxic as this place.

My son started at the Little School in 2010. He is in his 3rd school year there now and we are very happy. The staff is very professional and positive. They have a ton of different activities, guest speakers and field trips. The price is steep but the bells and whistles of the school make it worth it for us.
