Little Prison Elementary. I give this school a 2 but ONLY because of the teacher my child has. If it were not for her I would have transferred long ago. The office staff are very rude and have zero issues insulting and questioning your parenting right in front of your child. Show up 2 minutes late to car line and they treat you like you abandoned your child. They BLAME the children for being late to school. How on earth are you going to write up a 4 year old for being late?! It's not his fault. I even watched a teachers aid scold a 4 year old for forgetting his backpack. Quoting "that's not your mommy's responsibility. It's YOURS." Had this poor child in tears. You don't treat children like that. I know prison guards that treat inmates with more respect than that. That's what this school reminds me of. Little prison

I think that this is a very caring school. you will not please everyone every time. but they do try. PTA meetings on weekday mornings it is hard for working parents to attend. only problem I had I have taken vacation days for special occasion and the dates change without notice and I burn a vacation day for nothing and end up missing that special time with my child.

I have found this school to be exemplary. They have a wonderful caring staff. They have lots of activities for the kids, and a great performance record. I have had no adverse dealings with them what so ever. I would and have recommended this school to all i have spoken with. The principle. teachers, and office staff, are a true asset to this community. They work tirelessly to insure the children's safety and that they are prepared for their futures. I personally have had 3 children go through this school, and the commitment from little pearl has not changed. If fact they continue to ask about them. I don't just consider them a school but am proud to call them friends.

Little Pearl far exceeded our expectations for Pre K and Kindergarten. The teachers and staff are excellent.

This is a hard school to review. I had two kids going there at the same time. One had the absolute best teacher I have ever met (and I'm a substitute teacher). The other never got discsiplined, hardly learned anything and the teacher rarely cooperated with parents requests. The women in the front office can be very rude. The principle has no concept of how to handle a misbehaving child. They actually told my kids that sugar was good for them, that your body needs candy and sweets. The PTA offers ice cream as an afternoon snack and only holds PTA meetings on weekday mornings when nobody can attend... Don't send your kids here unless your only goal is to drop the off for the day.
