I hate going here, there are so many budget cuts because the schools are in debt. School lunch is terrible, kids are so disrespectful and they get away with everything and don't know how to act, if these kids went to any other school half of them would have already been suspended, school is super unorganized, there is always at least one piece of incorrect information in Aspen, school nurse completely pushes away problems, when I had pneumonia she told me i was fine when I could barely talk from how sick I was, the school is always dirty because there is a small janitorial staff just if you want a school that actually has money and doesn't just look like it don't waste your time here

I attended this school around three years ago and had a very negative experience. Bullying was poorly regulated, even when reported. Many teachers seemed unmotivated and often gave up on students. Fights occurred frequently, and administrative issuessuch as the principal failing to submit paperwork correctlywere common. Overall, it was not a supportive or safe learning environment.

Many teachers at this school are not teaching the students, and are looking at their phones all class. Some teachers are so lazy, they dont teach a single thing in the class. Behavioral issues are often handled horribly at this school. In general, many (not all) teachers at this school do not do their job very well, and this affects the students who go here.

I'm not sure how much has changed in the past few years, but Melrose Middle School was a very negative experience for me. Coursework was remedial, fist fights in the hallways were all too common, and cafeteria food lacked nutritional value.
