I am a junior here and this school is amazing. The teachers are dedicated and work hard to teach the students all they can. The principle is a wonderful respectable lady. I love it here.

I transferred here from another school in 2009 and I was so amazed how the learning system and how involved all the teachers and staff was with the education of the student. This is absolutely the best education I ever received. I learned so much more and applied it to college resulting in Honors Society in Nursing. Thank you guys for all you did.

Hancock High School is truly a school like no other. Transfer students from other high schools are amazed of how our school works. Our teachers make an effort to get to know students to understand each individual student's needs. Our principles are involved with student activities to make them feel as they are not just there to enforce discipline. Our student body shows amazing spirit for our school, and everyone is on their feet cheering at games and pep rallies. Also, as of the 2014-2015 school year Hancock is the number one school in south Mississippi and number two in the state.

i am a freshmen at hhs and i believe that it is a little bit better than others in hancock but it has some ups and downs... UPS 1) a very good selection of clubs and activities that go a great job at making hhs a better place) 2)a very devoted princepal and assistent princepals 3)keeps a steady pace with education (even if it is slow) DOWNS 1)dress code; it is a hassle if you dye your hair with highlights wear skulls of any kind or simply wear the wrong color shirt. you are going to get written up. no questions asked. 2)bus; there are so many students at this school that the busses are having to put middle school kids with high school and there is 3 to 4 kids in one seat. i dont know that this is normal but it gets hot esp. when you dont have an.................................................
