Can I get a sixth star!!!



This is an excellent school! It’s an extremely diverse community with a group of teachers who really care. Students and staff have worked exceptionally hard over the past few years to move this school to a lofty “B” rating.

Camden and Currituck counties are always seen as superior schools, however that is no longer the case.

ECMS is on the rise and is in an excellent place to raise your family.

The teachers are not proactive and do not reach out or communicate with the parents at all with child progress. The teachers are all over place. You will never know what your child is learning pass or fail. Your concerns will always go unnoticed, or the assistant principle or staff will make excuses for teachers.You can email or parent square a teacher and will not here back for weeks. You can call the school front desk to try to schedule a parent teacher conference, but know the secretary will either hang up on you or transfer multiple times just go to a teacher voice mail and never get a return call from the teacher. We want out. Our child is not learning well at this school.

WORST SCHOOL I HAVE SEEN YET. The teachers are not proactive at all. When I contact the teachers I have waited over a month until I heard back from the teachers. They do not let you know what is going on with your child. I will be moving my children out of this area as soon as possible. I have dealt with this school for 3 years and 2 kids.
