I rate this school a 1 star because it wouldn't allow me to rate it a quarter of a star. My daughter was told that she couldn't wear hair bows at this school, and no tank tops period, not even under a shirt. A student was sent home this morning because she wore a tank top under a large shirt. And there are random searches of girls purses. It is becoming hard for me to send my child to this school. It makes no sense. And no one answers the phone at the superintendent's office and they don't return phone calls.

I know we have the lottery now in NC but why do most of the kids not have books? My child gets PDFs emailed to her because they do not have enough books in several of her classes. My daughter went to school with a hole in the knee of her pants. The jeans were old and I haven't been able to afford to get new school clothes this year, but she was sent home and told that if she shows up to school with those jeans on again, she would be suspended. Something is clearly wrong here, my daughter is in the Beta Club and the Honor Society. Don't send your child here.

I agree that strong bonds can be made here at my school and yes the football program is good as well. But I am more concerned with my education than with doing what my peers are doing. Lots of them are into their clothes, or getting a boyfriend and that is good too, we have to live our lives but thinking about after high school if important too. The restrictions and rules they make up here are just wrong.
